Shot down by the Brooklyn Park at night. Many photographers were there that warm July evening. This is a composition of 8 pictures stitched together in the program "Microsoft image composer". Enjoy.

Impressions of Manhattan are a dime a dozen, here's my 10 cent :-)

Taken last night from Weehawken.

This is a single shot taken with a Sony Alpha 6000 Camera and a Samyang 12 mm ultra-wide lens. Exposure time was 30 seconds using a tripod.

It was truly an exciting evening.....the evening of election day 2016.

Just love this park under the Bridge. Really very nice area, you often meet a lot of photographers (sometimes up to 10) there.

Thank you for taking the time to look. Hope you enjoy and potentially learn something! Big thanks to the amazing Flickr family out there!

This shot is from August of last year.

Took this one this morning.

A very wet view from the Empire State Building

This shot is from July 2005.

A view of Manhattan bridge from Brooklyn Bridge Park on a clear afternoon!

Everyone should walk across the Brooklyn Bridge if you get a chance. It is one of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had. The view is absolutely breathtaking.

Taken earlier in the week.

Took this one Monday night.

I know, it's the same foundation as my previous shot, but I had to see what the image would look like processed for B&W. Now I'm not sure which I prefer.

First I removed some of the shots in the stack, so technically it's not as long of exposure. This brought back some cloud lines. I then processed with Nik Silver Efex, bumped the contrast and added some film grain. My goal was to make a more dramatic image.

So although they started with the same raw, I don't even see or feel the same phot when I look at the two images.

What do you think?

New York City can sometimes be scary.

But nothing can be scarier than living alone in this big city.

As a melting pot,we blend not mend

As a fast paced city,we skip not strut

Once in a while certain ghosts will haunt us

And when they do we must conquer it if we must

We can all get scared

But we must gather courage...

Like the city motto excelsior

Ever upward!

Cry if you must

Laugh if you can't

But never jump...

A different take on the midtown NYC Skyline. Framed by the beginnings of autumn.

Taken from Weehawken earlier tonight.

Found this digging though some archives. I know it's not very original , but sometimes it doesn't matter. The city just grabs me in this image.

This was one of the first shots I took trying out the Sony A7RII BIS. Needless to say it just worked @ 1/13th.

The clouds were fantastic the morning I took this shot.

Taken around 30 minutes ago.

Just a simple tourist type snap taken from the Empire State Building New York USA of the Chrysler Building and surrounding New York skyline.

View from Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan Bridge

Another shot from this past Saturday.

One more from the other day.

Look for the video on YouTube. My name there is NJPhotographer62.

Another pleasant day at the bank of Hudson. Smooth waves with these amazing shadows of the skyscraper. Always a treat for the eyes.

From a little over a week ago.

Stitched Pano contrasting NJ and NYC under the warm morning glow.

Taken from the Weehawken waterfront.
