On this day, the setting sun did not appear. The sun shone through the clouds in a fiery red. Twilight had progressed that day and the fire station in Zedtwitz was watching the fire-red sky.
The glacial lake Fjallsárlón, in which many small icebergs float, is located at the foot of the glacier Fjallsjökull. This glacier is part of Iceland's largest glacier, Vatnajökull.
The lagoon is much smaller than the adjacent Jökulsárlón, but you have a better view of the edge of the tongue where the icebergs fall into the water.
The water from the glacial lake flows to the sea via a small river.

De Amsterdamse burgemeester Job Cohen zal naar verwachting Wouter Bos opvolgen. ,,Job Cohen lijkt mij bij uitstek geschikt als mijn opvolger en als volgende premier van Nederland," zei Wouter Bos hierover. ,,Ik heb heel veel vertrouwen in Cohen. Bij hem is de partij in goede handen. Als u mij vraagt wie de partij moet leiden, zeg ik Cohen."
Al sinds 2007
Wouter Bos overwoog al vanaf 2007 om op te stappen bij volgende verkiezingen. Sindsdien voerde de politicus al gesprekken hierover met Cohen. De laatste paar weken werd het besluit definitief. Wouter Bos nam de beslissing na de val van het kabinet en wist al voor de gemeenteraadsverkiezingen dat hij zou opstappen. Bos zegt nog geen concrete plannen te hebben voor zijn toekomst. ,,Ik zal u allen missen," zei Bos als afsluiting van de persconferentie.
Wouter Bos stapte in 1998 van het bedrijfsleven over naar de politiek. In het kabinet Balkenende IV was Bos vice-premier en minister van Financiën.
