NEWSFLASH
Indecision by a photographer concerning the choice between orange leaf or vintage car caused a nasty pile up on the decking highway this morning.
Newsflash: we’re no longer in the 20th century - which means two things. First, shoulder pads are a thing of the past … and second, there are a lot more contemporary bodysuit options to choose from.
This Nala Designs Zooey two-piece bodysuit is one such exemplary example. Its comfortable looking and flattering appearance, along with its adaptability lends itself to everything from brunches to a night out partying with your friends.
This Zooey outfit certainly makes quite a fashion statement. It complements your frame by accentuating your best assets - like letting your décolletage announce your arrival, with its seductive and elegant looking strapped appointments. Its striped glitter accents add just the right touch of glamour.
Fits: Maitreya Lara (+ Petite), Belleza GenX (+Curvy), Erika, Reborn, and Legacy mesh bodies.
This Nala Designs Zooey Outfit is available at Swank’s "Wild Spring Event" for March 2023.

"Nara deer" are wild animals that have lived in the area for over 1,300 years. Since ancient times, they have been carefully protected as "sacred deer" (shinroku), messengers of the gods of Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Nowadays, they can be seen daily in the area centered around Nara Park. Nara deer are the same species as the Japanese deer that live in other areas, but they have retained their ancient DNA ( scienceportal.jst.go.jp/newsflash/20230209_n01/ ) and are designated as a national natural monument. However, because they are wild, they can be aggressive, especially male deer in the fall, so caution is required. The deer in Nara Park (Nara City), a popular tourist spot, branched off from an ancestral population over 1,000 years ago and have since survived for a long time as a lineage with a unique genetic type, according to genetic analysis by Fukushima University and other researchers. The research group believes that the reason the deer in Nara managed to survive without disappearing is because they were carefully protected as "messengers of the gods."
Nara is known for its "deer crackers," or "shika senbei" but in fact the deer within Nara Park are wild animals, In Nara Park, it is prohibited to feed the deer (with the exception of deer crackers). The deer in Nara Park are wild animals, and they live by eating plants that grow in the park (turf grass, leaves, acorns, etc.).
Deer crackers are the deer's favorite snack, but feeding them other foods (sweets, bread, vegetables, leftovers, etc.) may cause the deer to become ill or lead to accidents. Please do not feed the deer any food other than deer crackers.
Deer crackers are an essential part of the interaction between people and the "Nara deer" that began in the Edo period, and are a culture with a historical background.
Deer crackers are a snack made in a way that is safe for the deer, and a portion of the sales is used to cover the costs of deer protection, so they are allowed as an exception from the perspective of conservation and tourism promotion.
Nara deer are a type of deer that is a large wild animal that represents Japan. Sika deer live widely throughout Japan, from Hokkaido to the Ryukyu Islands. Among them, the deer around Nara Park were designated as a national natural monument in 1957 as "Nara deer". According to a survey by Nara Prefecture, there were about 1,200 deer as of July 2022

Interrupting the street portrait series in light of a Tsunami Warning. The monster 8.8 earthquake in Chile has apparently generated a Tsunami that we will experience, to some degree in Malibu! Hawaii is apparently going to get the worst of it.
This shot was taken moments ago from my deck, which hopefully will still exist by the end of the day.
Let's pray for the Chileans.
First flickr image from my new Canon 5D3. Ir was time to replace my venerable 5D2 body as I wanted to jump into a more modern focus system. The 5D4 was just too expensive in Australia - over $5k, so I went with the older model as it seems to have a similar focus system.
The sharpness out of the camera is much better than from the Mk II. This image was shot with the 24-105 L zoom.
Image is in a coastal headland walk north of Merimbula, South Coast NSW.
Newsflash - This photo made it into flickr Explor on Anzac Day - 25 April 2017. I have been getting about 3 comments a photo recently as I have been very quiet, so I try a bit harder, and Hey Presto! Explore No. 458. Thanks again to all of my flickr followers!
For The Teleidoscope Theme: Newspaper
The idea for this came to me after the many conversations I've had with friends regarding art versus media/marketing and how some of my work plays into both of those mediums. Art is everywhere. Books are art, comic strips are art, nature is art because it inspires art. Life is art. For me there is no distinction between commercial art and "amateur art", a beautiful photograph is still impressive to me regardless if it's coming from a brand or in a magazine. The world is what you interpret it to be, I see it as art :).
And people say the news media never tells the truth anymore...

Picked up this copy of "Världarnas utveckling"/"The Development of the Worlds" by Svante Arrhenius, written in 1906. It contains a multitude of chapters on Everything, e.g. "The sun's radiation and constitution", "The celestial bodies, especially the earth, as habitats for living beings", "The mystery of the Milky Way", "The impact of water vapor on climate".
Svante Arrhenius was one of the first to recognize the role of carbon dioxide in the green house effect and put it forward as a theory to explain the ice ages.

Horace said he would like a walk along the beach and reflect upon 2020.
I suggested to Horace that he bring a snorkel, what does he turn up with, a snooker cue.🐷😁
As Horace and I were watching the waves crashing onto the rocks we received a newsflash, there had been a leak from the AGM of our Village Synchronised Botty Coughing Club, it had been announced that Betty Beswetherick would be the new team Captain, though this decision was met with a favourable response, there were rumblings from some of the older members, brrrrrp, brrrrrp, brrrrrp.💨💨💨🙉
I would like to thank you all for viewing my photographs, along with the comments and general banter we have here on Flickr.♥️🙏
You have heard me say it before but I will say it again, “a smile costs nothing, but it enriches those who receive it”.😁😇
Time and tide wait for no man: We have always believed that life is for living and enjoy every moment.😂😂😂
As for the stories, whoops reportage, well in amongst the poetic licence there are so many situations that are absolutely true.🤔😁
I like so many of you, am so looking forward to the day when we can all interact properly with each other again. I have always been so lucky to bump into some real characters in the course of my photography and these are the people who provide the basis of the reportage.😜
I also feel very privileged when I go out that the beautiful playground of Cornwall is on the doorstep and it is such an inspiration for me to capture and share with you all.🌞
I will leave you in peace to enjoy the festivities, and I will see you again in January 2021.🎉🍷
It just leaves me to say have a wonderful Christmas, a very healthy, happy and peaceful New Year. 🎄🎄🎅🎅🍻🎉🎉😇

Kingsburg, Ca.
So, there I was, just sipping my coffee and reading the depressing news of our impending demise (read, "Trump/Bolton), when I chanced to look up just in time to see an entire fleet of flying saucers descending upon Kingsburg. I can only hope they didn't snatch up one of my family or friends.

Jeanny, Jeanny...
Jeanny, come, come on
Stand up please
You're getting all wet
It's getting late, come
We must leave here
Out of the woods
Don't you understand?
Where is your shoe?
You lost it
When I had to show you the way
Which of us lost?
You, yourself?
I, myself?
Or... we ourselves?
Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
You're lost in the night
Don't wanna struggle and fight
There's someone who needs you
It's cold
We must leave here
Come
Your lipstick is smeared
You bought it and
And I saw it
Too much red on your lips
And you said, “Leave me alone”
But I saw right through you
Eyes say more than words
You need me, don't you, hmmmh?
Everyone knows, that we're together
From today,
Now I can hear them, they are coming!
They're coming!
They are coming to get you.
They won't find you.
Nobody will find you!
You're with me.
Jeanny quit livin' on dreams...
[spoken] Newsflash:
In the last months the number of missing persons has dramatically increased. The latest account from the local police reports another tragic case. It is a matter of a nineteen year old girl who was last seen two weeks ago. The police have not excluded the possiblity that a crime has been committed.
Jeanny...
Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams...

News Flash⚡️⚡️⚡️
For all botty coughing aficionados, Horace🐷 has just got wind of the following statement, which has just been released in the last few minutes, with the emphasis on released.💨🙈💨
The village synchronised botty coughing team have announced that due to current circumstances and restrictions, they will be putting their much anticipated exhibition tour on hold, well there might be the odd brrrrp as many of the competitors are of a mature age and muscle control is not what it use to be.👵👵👵👵
When interviewed over Zoom by members of the worlds press associations, Mrs Trebillcock who had been appointed team captain as winner of the inaugural village freestyle botty coughing championship expressed much disappointment on behalf of the team saying “that after weeks of hard practice, sweat and tears they were completely deflated by the decision and it had taken the wind out of their sails”.😭😢😭
She went on to say, that all of the squad were a credit to their profession, not once did they miss a training session, plus they had diligently stuck to a very special diet of high octane curries, beans, mixed spices, all washed down by copious amounts of Sharp’s Doom Bar in order to keep in the peak of condition.
Two of the ladies who cannot be named for legal reasons in fact needed extra coaching, so out of their own pocket employed a private tooter.💁♀️🔔🔔
Mrs Trebillcock also praised the team members on how immaculate they had kept their uniforms, as there was always going to be the odd mishap when practicing new moves. 💨💩🙈
Mrs T concluded her statement by saying, “With a keen wind, training sessions will hopefully resume with much gusto in 2021”.💪💪💪💪🍺🍺💨💨💨
I will leave you with this thought,
Why does everyone think that Piglet broke wind, because he plays with Pooh.
Thank you so much for viewing my photos, I get a lot of fun capturing them.
Your banter and comments are so appreciated, take care out there.
🍺🍺🍺🍷🍷🍷💃🐎🐷😎😂😂😂

It is imperative that we implement a system of ecolonomic homeostasis to fight against the current anthropotechnogenic economic, social and environmental crises. Recent global economic and political instability has revealed the shortcomings of our current capitalist system. It further confirms the necessity for an ultramodern paradigm shift. On account of the deleterious impact of the financialization of the economic ecosystem, we must introduce an oligopolistic system that can be sustainably managed. The Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) is what is needed to fulfill our sustainable development goals. Environmental awareness must be the center of our ethos as we work to reduce our anthroposphere periphery in pursuit of global co-immunity. Not only must we manipulate living organisms through science and engineering to create commodities, we must also manipulate the Anthropos through cryptoeconomic engineering.
This new cryptospheric ecotechnic cybernetic system will revolve around a cyber-physical environmental intelligence. This transhuman technosphere of 15 minute city ecoregions will adopt a sustainable economic welfare system that will revolve around harvesting the body’s energy. You will be a collective of communities, a multitude of capital. We will combine biomimetics and thermoeconomics to economically rebalance the core-periphery dynamic. Xenocommodification: all money creation must have biophysical embedding—666. This thermalisation of thermoeconomics will be globally self-replicated.
In short: take the Mark of the Beast and become transhuman—embrace the techno-Beast system, because techno-animism is the way of the future!
These nerds want an economic system that revolves around the environment—a Social Credit Score System that will be linked to your Carbon Footprint and to the United Nations 17 goals of Sustainable Development. The ultimate goal is to tie this eco-economic system together with transhumanism—the merging of man and microchip…data capitalism (data totalitarianism).
Warning: “Constantly be on your guard so that your hearts will not be loaded down with self-indulgence, drunkenness, and the worries of this life, or that day will take you by surprise like a trap, because it will come on everyone who lives on the face of the earth. So be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to take your stand in the presence of the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)

This was part of my 19th birthday gift from Meagan, my sister across the country. Just over a year ago was the first time we met face-to-face (read more about it here). It's crazy to me how time flies, how much things change so quickly. How important it is to take every single thing that comes in and out of your life positively and turn it into something more.
This gift/book/quote has been stuck on my wall since I got it, the light was hitting it beautifully tonight and the quote really gave me an emotional newsflash.
Love as much as you can. And that's it.
Lisa’s Bust Uncovered. Long thought to be a hoax, solid evidence rocked the art world today. More to be exposed tomorrow......Good Night.
I'm going through my photos trying to dig up the shots I meant to upload earlier (along with this and this) and overlooked. Here's another from my evening up at Battery Spencer in the Marin Headlands shooting the Golden Gate Bridge with SouthPaw42. In fact, I think this shot came out remarkably similar to this shot of his too!
Anyways, this is more or less the shot I was hoping to come away with that night so I'm not sure why I hadn't uploaded it earlier, but there you go - it's up now.
While I think of it I really must share this link to a newsflash from "The Onion" that I originally so on one of Wiggum's shots.

The backs of these photos are stamped with, "REORDER BY NUMBER ON PHOTOGRAPH, 3 Photos .25, 6 Photos .50, 15 Photos 1.00, 36 photos 2.00, News Flash System, Studios of S. Ashen-Brenner, 4054 Lindell Boulevard, St. Louis, Mo." My guess is that the "News Flash System" was a street camera set up to take photos of pedestrians walking by the studio. Found in Ohio.
NEWSFLASH....Rachel not in corner!
I instantly fell in love with this dress when i first clapped eyes on it! It's very much a vintage style with a bit of gothic mixed in and it's from Miss Selfridge.Their clothes are just so girly and the models on their website are amazing. I love the collar and sleeves on this dress and it just feels so gorgeous to wear! With my false eyelashes and nails on i floated around on cloud nine yesterday in t-girl heaven!
Newsflash...Quinn has a shoe fetish!
I have to hide all my rubber Crocs or Dawgs now.
Initially I was wondering who massacred my shoe. Quinn or Jaspurr? I knew it wasn't Bailey.
Then one morning I sneaked down to find this! ;-)))
Needless to say all my rubber shoes are now tucked away in the closet.
Have a good Sunday everyone.

Geylang Serai, Singapore
Had an eventful day at Geylang, a Malay district . My cousin was accused of photographing a mentally-challenged guy who was prancing around. A bugger rushed to us and began hurling vulgarities, despite donning a songkok. It made me ponder on how photography is still a taboo to some & how sensitive certain issues are. Maybe we are nonchalant but I still think a mutual respect between us and the surrounding has to be practiced.
