Towan Headland - Newquay

One more from our Newquay break back in September. I had lovely light for this 6 second LE and the colour version is awash with pinks and blues, also lovely, but I really liked the way this B&W version rendered the tones.

Otherwise known as "The House in the Sea". The property sits right on the beach in Newquay and can only be reached by crossing a 90ft-high suspension bridge. You can rent it too but it is very pricey :-)

Taken during the visit of storm Brian. The winds had already arrived and the rains followed on.

This is a view of Towan Beach, Newquay. I remember we bought the boys skateboards in a pound shop type shop. We sat enjoying the view while we had a picnic and they didn't really know what to do with them!!

Friday was our last day in Newquay, and our tradition is that we just potter around exploring the town we are staying in, to give Tim a break from driving. Here you can see Towan Headland - we could see this from our apartment and decided we should go and have a closer look!
