When I was "make the click" for this photo I was thininking "How can I explain him how beauty the place he is now?"

Since I was born, I was taught that "happiness" is something I must seek it. It comes with money, cars, houses, jobs etc. But when I grow up, I learned that happiness is not something you need to looking for. Happiness is something you just belive and feel it.

Happy new year my dear friends may the happiness be with you.

Hope you will know what is and where you can find the happiness.

My best wish to you and your beloved ones!!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these llamas grazing on Northern Welsh pastures right in front of this beautiful railway viaduct.

Happy Furry Fence Friday everyone!:))

Took a walk, looked at an old scene in a new way. Happy weekend eve! :)

Today (July 29th) marks my 18th Birthday. What better way to set a milestone than compare it to the literal highest point in my life so far.

Thank you skeletal mess for use of texture.

Relief is always closer than we sometimes think...in the form of a new day. Night's separation of our days allows the world to catch its breath and to catch up. Seemingly impossible situations and overwhelming decisions crumble to digestible perspectives upon a decent night's sleep.

Selfportrait.

Thanks Dad for helping me out build this tipi and shoot with candles under the rain.

Last year I decided to get involved in a 52 weeks project and completely failed at it. I assumed it was not done for me, yet I realised by having a general look at the work of my contacts that not only was it at the same time challenging and fulfilling –it was practise (almost only) that enabled you to get better.

The Teleidoscope group appeared all great to me ; intensely creative and thematically inspirational, not to mention that we are able to do a 26 weeks instead –the option I chose, for I would like to give more thought to my productions than I ever did.

Here then is my first picture of 2012.

I am wearing a pendant my bestfriend gave me as a Christmas present, together with the motto better to light a candle than curse the darkness, and that will definitely be my « New Perspective » for this year.

Also, I am giving a try to a Talenthouse Contest with that picture, and I seriously would need your support in there too.

Thanks for reading, and may this year be full of heavenly colourful promises !

This on is " sudden dropoff into the abyss", as seen on the sign sudden dropoff. it almost looks like you would fall off to know where.

this was taken just a few minutes away from home.. but have neverr thought of photographing it like this. sometimes you miss the beauty and perspective of the norm. have to look at things differently.

thanks for viewing and please feel free to comment.

Project 365 Week 15 Day 108 - Wildcard Day

Like the lyrics in the song by Panic at the Disco sometimes we need to get a new perspective. We become so busy that we get jaded and no longer pay attention to the things around us and the beauty in them. This bare tree is outside my office and I had forgotten how beautiful it can be. Sometimes to gain a new perspective all we need to do is refocus and look at things in a different way.

"New perspectives with 10 mm - I think I like it..."

„Neue Perspektiven mit 10 mm - ich glaub sie gefallen mir…“

My personal challenge for 2022 - I'll try - and do my very best...

Meine persönliche Herausforderung für 2022 - ich werd's versuchen - und mein Bestes geben…

this is for the teleidoscope theme 'new perspective' but since we were a few thousand miles from home, it seems we're too late to add it to the group. (thanks joel!)

also, nellie's just made herself a new flickr account. you should go welcome her!

(texture by the lovely les brumes)

What does a photographer do when presented with a gorgeous backdrop of pretty barren branches against a deep blue sky?

Well, she adds the only subjects available.

Hope you enjoy this shot as much as I enjoyed making it.

When they are coming at you it gives one a great birds eye view of the tremendous six foot wing span on the Bald Eagle. The facial expression is always very intense when they are fishing. An exciting moment for sure.

Hey Flickr! This is just a quick self portrait from the other day. Unfortunately for me there were a lot of dog walkers down this path despite the rain and it being the middle of a weekday, so I ended up half hiding most of the time...

This image came from wanting to use this tree that I've passed every day for a year on my way to work but never gone to whilst I had my camera, and the concepts of new beginnings and perspectives. 2012 is already looking amazing for me, and we're only 21 days in... I hope this'll be a brilliant year for all of you too!

For those of you who don't know, voting for the Talenthouse competition I entered (to win a chance to be on a single cover for Florence + the Machine) has started! There are 45 final winners and all proceeds from the selling of the vinyls go to teenage cancer trust! Please VOTE HERE for "Our Best Told Tales" to have a chance to be amongst those 45!

The birds are the keepers of our secret

As they saw us where we lay

In the deepest grass of springtime

In a reckless guilty haze

And they wove a sweet indifference

And it settled on our skin

Till the eyes that I remembered

For the last time drew me in

The birds, though I wore your glacial patience

To a smudge of bitter dust

On the last day you embraced me

With a glistening sapling trust

Did they sing a million blessings

As they watched us slowly part?

Do they keep those final kisses

In their tiny racing hearts?

What are we gonna do with you?

Same tale every time

What are we gonna do with you?

Come on inside, looking back is for the birds

What are we gonna do with you?

Same tale every time

What are we gonna do with you?

Come on inside, looking back is for the birds.

Happy new Year everyone!!! Welcome back to what will be the 2nd round of The Teleidoscope, i'm so happy we made it this far and managed to go for a second year!

Anyway i really hope you have joined and if not you should do as it gives everyone a chance to flex theyre design brains and come up with some great images.

Anyhoo this is my entry for the group this week, i'm just flexing my brain as it has been stuck in code recently and i'm stocked to start this again, so much so i may replace this shot if i can find the background image i'm after!!! I will have to keep to a 26 week year unfortunately unless i have time as i am studying my final few months of web design and its very full on. Otherwise i will do my best to sneak in a few extras if i can. :)

So glad your back and please stick around to what i think will be an even better year than before!

Remaining stationery doesn't invite a new perspective. It is true. I admit. If I am looking at things the same way and from the exact place, the views become uniform. To realign one must endure a certain amount of movement. I don't even mind. I enjoy the stimulation which wafts through the air, in the presence of new sights, sounds, and people.

week #1, new perspective

The Teleidoscope

my first ever photo for the teleidoscope. After following the group most of last year, I've decided to participate in some of the themes this year. No guarantees as to how many I'll do, but some of them at least.

even if I am starting a week late :)

also, I must be getting better at taking sp's with no remote - almost all my shots were in focus.

b&w + out-takes

Changing the way you view things can open new worlds.

Film: Kodak Portra 400

Camera: Konica Autoreflex T3 with 50 mm 1.4

Development: Fujifilm Switzerland

Digitised with a digital camera. Positive conversion, levels and colours done with Negative Lab Pro.

The theme for week 1 of the Teleidoscope is "New Perspectives".

For me, looking at life through my camera helps me look at the world with a new perspective. It is one reason I love photography.

Plus, it makes me see really cool yellow walls like this one just a few blocks from my house!

A fresh perspective.

Welcome to 2012!

This is for week 1 of the Teleidoscope - the theme is New Perspective.

This is sure a new perspective for me! One big change is this is a self pic. After all the hot guys I usually show you - it's a big stretch to throw myself in the mix!

The other new perspective is this is a location shot - that's my street - that's our two cars parked to the side and our holly tree on the side of the house. It was snowing outside pretty heavily but it stopped by the time I could get outside.

So my wish for the New Year is Bold Adventure!

I hope your year is filled with belly laughter, introspective peace and tingling adventure!!!

All the best!

Michael

Hello my friends! Thank you very much for all your wishes on my debut :-) The show opening was great - there was many different works and different people. The exhibition is up till September 25, 2009, so you all are still invited :-)

And I'm happy with new perspectives that opened to me right now as I'm holding a present from my dear Yuri (Julian) - a new camera!! :-) HooRay!! I'm a Canon girl, so here it is my Canon EOS 500D aka Rebel T1i or Kiss X3 Digital!

I was so happily busy lately and now I really can focus on you! :-)

Wishing you all a superb weekend and happy Labour Day :-)

I feel the salty waves come in

I feel them crash against my skin

And I smile as I respire because I know they'll never win

There's a haze above my TV

That changes everything I see

And maybe if I continue watching

I'll lose the traits that worry me

Can we fast-forward to go down on me?

Stop there and let me correct it

I wanna live a life from a new perspective

You come along because I love your face

And I'll admire your expensive taste

And who cares divine intervention

I wanna be praised from a new perspective

But leaving now would be a good idea

So catch me up on getting out of here

Taking everything for granted but we still respect the time

We move along with some new passion knowing everything is fine

And I would wait and watch the hours fall in a hundred separate lines

But I regain repose and wonder how I ended up inside

Can we fast-forward to go down on me?

Stop there and let me correct it

I wanna live a life from a new perspective

You come along because I love your face

and I'll admire your expensive taste

And who cares divine intervention

I wanna be praised from a new perspective

But leaving now would be a good idea

So catch me up on getting out of here

More to the point, I need to show

How much I can come and go

Other plans fell through

And put a heavy load on you

I know there's no more that need be said

When I'm inching through your bed

Take a look around instead and watch me go

Stop there and let me correct it

I wanna live a life from a new perspective

You come along because I love your face

and I'll admire your expensive taste

And who cares divine intervention

I wanna be praised from a new perspective

But leaving now would be a good idea

So catch me up on getting out of here

It's not fair, just let me perfect it

Don't wanna live a life that was comprehensive

'cause seeing clear would be a bad idea

Now catch me up on getting out of here

So catch me up I'm getting out of here
