One of the tractor implements I came up with was this implement; a “New Idea” Sickle Bar Mower. The company that made it is no longer around so I will have to improvise on some of the missing parts. I had to put other tires on it to get it home along with using a Come-a-long to hold the back up from dragging. Some of the major parts were down in the dirt so long they are rusted fast. I am still trying to get them loose.

Engineering is a vital step in the development of a new product idea. Davison is an industry leader because of our technical capabilities.
I have like 120 of these assignments to grade. This is just the first of many assignments like this. I have got to come up with a better system. In my interior design class the students complete these picture assignments... this is how it works: I cover a concept, such as color schemes. After I lecture and we discuss the concept, the students then have time to look for examples of the concept in magazines. The pictures are pasted onto card stock, labeled and a written description of what the picture represents is drawn up and placed on the back of the card stock. Most assignments contain at least 5 pictures. The color scheme assignment contains 6 or 7.... so to sum it all up, I have to read through all of these assignments to see that the students understand the concept and can recognize the concept being used in interiors. After the first few assignments the student get tired of the format. I would love to come up with something new...
I need fresh ideas... any suggestions are welcome... PLEASE!!!!
I am considering doing away with the picture assignments all together. One idea that I have is to find examples myself and have a number of them. After discussing the concept I will hand out the pictures to groups. In groups, the students will discuss the picture and a group recorder will record the groups thoughts on the picture... i.e. what does the picture represent (which color scheme), where they see it present, etc. Then they will take online quizzes that contain pictures that I have selected and they have to tell my what the pictures represent. Then to make things a bit more exciting, I will assign projects in which students work in pairs to design a project board using different elements and principles of design... actually taking a floor plan for a room, drawing a perspective of the room and showing the elements put to work in the room.

☆MONDAY MADNESS☆
I paint a lot. So I added an extra day to brighten someone's day like these have brightened mine. Another acrylic sketchbook painting. Pondering the idea of people you've known/met that have stepped back out of your life. They gifted you with their presence for a day, a week, or a few years and now they are gone. Maybe you'll keep in touch, maybe you won't, but you can remember and cherish the time you shared. What do you think?

iPee is a fun and silly new application that simulates peeing at the urinal. Place your two fingers on the footprints to start the stream. Take your fingers off to stop.
Angle the phone left and right to aim your stream around the urinal.
Put a photo from your gallery into the bowl. Or snap a new one with the built in camera and poof - it shows up right there in the urinal. Use the built in plunger to plunge the bowl. And when you're done, give it a flush.

Ghost Recorder was created in MEDL Mobile’s AppIncubator.
The idea was submitted by Trevor Turner, a Canadian now living in Australia.
The app uses special technology to pick up the supernatural ghost noises that are beyond the realm of the human ear. Go into a room where you suspect the presence of ghostly activity and hit record. Once you’ve recorded a long enough sampling, save your recording and then check it for ghosts. When you play back the sounds, you’ll hear a collection of ghostly shrieks and freaky sounds.
