Congrats to Andrew Hess, drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 19th round! He's a senior, I think a true senior, so I'd guess he signs. Here's hoping he moves up through the ranks quickly! We need more Wolverines in the majors.
This mother is HUGE (clocking in at about 33" x 47") - a steal at $12. Thank you, Geoff McFetridge, for being so awesome.

The east end is the newest addition to Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria, completed as recently as 1991, and the Chapel of the New Jerusalem is its crowning glory, dominated by the stained-glass triptych of the visions of Revelation 21. It was created by Christopher Wallis of London, Ontario, and installed in 1994. The cathedral guide leaflet describes it was “one of the finest art pieces in the city”.
Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria is the mother church of the Diocese of British Columbia of the Anglican Church of Canada. Designed by J C M Keith in Early English Gothic style, it won an international competition in 1896. Construction was, at least at first, halting and regularly interrupted, and didn't really get going until 1926. The nave was consecrated in 1929, the western towers were complete by the 1950s, and the east end was completed and consecrated only in 1991.
It is the third cathedral for the Diocese; the first two were located directly opposite Quadra Street from the current building. The first, originally a parish church but elevated to a Cathedral, burned down in 1869. The second, was opened in 1872, and eventually replaced (I am not sure what happened to the building). The main organ, designed by Helmuth Wolff of Laval, Quebec, was installed as recently as 2005. It is a four-manual monster with over 4,000 pipes.
Phoenix is my newest-to-me doll, although not my newest by production year. She was my birthday present from my husband and myself last month. I don't know much about her yet, but I do know that she likes D&D.

As I received my MFL and GI Brick order this week, I thought I'd show you all what I've been working on. Gunmetal is one of the hardest BA colours to work with, as any marks you make are permenant. Also, My camera makes these look messy, When IRL they are fairly clean.

I took a long walk in the city today (including Pokemon catching) and I was almost back and decided to go around the last block to hit a few more Pokestops. The sidewalk was closed due to construction and the temporary one was protected by traffic barricades. I noticed the orange cones and quickly tried to think how I could get a shot without my tripod and without risking someone coming by and grabbing my phone. I set my phone on top of the traffic barricade and used my water bottle to lean my phone against. I waited for someone to walk by but they turned down the other street. I quickly took my shot. I had planned for something else today, but I decided to go with this shot.

My youngest daughter, Andrea, gave birth to this perfect little boy today. It was a long night of labor and then still needing a c-section in the end, but she did great !! I can't wait to meet him, my 6th grandchild. I have my Amtrak ticket for March 24th to travel 1250 miles to Georgia to visit them for a week and meet Henry. Can't wait !!

NJ Transit GP40PH-2B no. 4209 (EMD, 1965-1969) and ALP-45A no. 4537 (Bombardier, 2021-present) are seen passing south of Secaucus Junction station with Pascack Valley Line train 1627 and Main Line train 1122, respectively. The GP40PH-2B's were built for Penn Central prior to the existence of NJ Transit and are some of the oldest locomotives in the railroad's fleet, now in their 57th year of service! On the other hand the ALP-45A's are the railroad's newest locomotives, the oldest of which have been in service for less than two years!

New Fashionista! While I was hoping for my must-have girl with the beauty mark to come out next, this girl is my 2nd must-have. She's beautiful but her hair is a mess in the box! I had to redo her bun but some strands of hair are to short to be pulled back. I really missed the Asha face sculpt! She is lovely!
This is my last big project in this house that we're remodeling. Stenciling the floor in a breezeway that will be kind of like an inside patio. It will be a great space in the heat of summer because it stays cool and in the winter time, the glorious light that streams thru the glass doors will be a welcome sight. This is only 2 days work so I'm going to be here awhile.

Oil paint on Fabriano paper with gesso.
Some testing of these cheap paints I recently bought. Not bad. Kind of creamy texture though. Not to mention it lasts longer to dry. Perhaps another try on canvas. I think I'll stick with acrylics.
