Walking distance to the Financial District and Union Square, this urban oasis counts the St. Regis and the W hotels as its neighbors and is just steps away from Yerba Buena Gardens and the Museum of Moderen Art.

Gonchary-Kojemyaki (literally Potters and Tanners) is a newest "recreation" of the old and once vibrant Podol handicraft district. Composed of mid- and low-rise buildings (partially still under construction and, as I noticed, of high vacancy rates) with often bombastic and ill-proportioned "historic" facades those blocks still provide some interesting corners and perspectives to capture.

829 Folsom's 69-designer residences showcase sophisticated design and an attention to detail that will surprise you.

This campus is currently being developed and the project is somewhat behind schedule.

 

The Central & East Quads for the DIT Grangegorman campus will accommodate academic activities and facilities required for a total of ten schools from the College of Sciences & Health, College of Engineering & Built Environment and the College of Arts & Tourism. These schools and their associated academic, teaching and specialist facilities will be grouped within the Central Quad to maximise the benefits and efficiencies to DIT from locating together related disciplines and functions.
