BNSF 9944, EMD SD70MAC

BNSF 9946, EMD SD70MAC

BNSF 9948, EMD SD70MAC

Nick-named because of their place of origin, these MACS were built south of the border due to EMD's backlog at their north of the border London Ontario Canada plant.

The first release of the New GE C44-9W locomotives for the BNSF Railway had a discrepancy with the paint scheme and was delivered with Red painted air horns, walkways, and steps. The BNSF rejected the locomotives and sent them back to GE in Erie PA.

This is the second 'First' release of the New BNSF Dash-9s on Aug 15, 1996. Roughly one month after the initial release of four NEW locomotives to BNSF. But this second 'First' release only seemed to correct the red painted air horns. The walkways and steps are still appearing as if they were painted in ATSF red.

I build fire trucks lol

Based on a few different designs from Pierce Fire Apparatus but mainly this one here: www.piercemfg.com/en/experience/NewDeliveries/Town-of-Hil...

Though I build military, Lego fire will always have a place in my heart.
