Obviously I am working through old photos. I started doing this when covid first landed and I'm still going. I feel quite safe to get out and I have been but now that I've started working through old photos I would like to finish that too.

A busy morning shooting between the end of the breakwall and Newcastle beach, well worth the 4am start.

A shot from last night sunset down on the quayside . It was nice to bump in the Neil again to . Thanks for looking

Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne

Taken from the top of the Vermont Hotel roof. Made a nice change to be able to shoot the quayside from a different viewpoint.

Thanks for looking, always very much appreciated.

Tyne Bridges, Newcastle, 19 Nov 2021

Taken on a recent Talkphotography meet to Northumberland. We ventured south to Newcastle on the Friday night to shoot the quayside, which was a first for me.....

The layers in the rocks up there are evidence of Noahs Flood, especially when they are bent, as can be seen around the world in many locations. The layers in those locations had to be soft at the same point in time to all bend smoothly as they have.

Taken yester day, but edited to look like last century.

Had a trip to Newcastle on Sunday with Richard Armstrong for sunset...no colours but still enjoyed being out.

Arrived here about 4am where a bunch of teenagers were swimming without any cloths on. It would have been about 4 degrees. In my thermals and gloves, I was freezing... They seem to be having fun so...

First time at this location. The pictures I've seen here are different to what it's like now. That grandstand(quite ugly really) that curves around the back of the pool and acts as a barrier wasn't in most of the pictures I've seen.

I had in mind coming here to take a low shot with my telephoto lens of the 1-6 lane markings out towards the ocean and sunrise but.. that stand prevented this.

Correction. I thought this was the Merewether Baths. To my big surprise there's 2 baths along this road in this area:p

Thanks to Archie, owner of a fantastic photostream (www.flickr.com/photos/madarchie0/) for sending me a polite, courteous, discrete ah hum email to let me know :) Appreciated it.

Lines lines and more lines. Had some trouble stitching this one. I spent too much time between shots due to a massive wave coming through and killing my reflection. It didn't want to match up trying to join it so I had to combine other shots into it till it was happy. The shots with the waves streaking across turned out quite well but it wasn't as good as the reflection come panoramic time... Then came the duty of straightening it all out. Almost gave up on this one.

'NEWCASTLE CATHEDRAL' - 15th AUGUST 2019

This is the tomb of the third Bishop of Newcastle, Bishop Lloyd, although this is described as his tomb he is in fact buried elsewhere in the city. The angels are supposedly there to stop him from rising up to preach one more sermon. Inside of St.Nicholas Cathedral in central Newcastle upon Tyne
