These particular dwellings are right beneath the Sun Temple. View from Sun Point View at Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado.

Sunset Point offers vistas of some of the most famous and breathtaking of Bryce Canyon's hoodoos. Directly below the point and to the south, the Silent City rises from the canyon floor, a maze of hoodoos and fins packed in tight formation.
This parrot was so colorful! The Hall of Mosses Trail in the Hoh Rainforest (part of the Olympic National Park) is filled with old temperate trees covered in green and brown mosses. Trees include bigleaf maples and Sitka spruces. The mosses on the trees do not damage the trees. However, the trees can fall by the winds in storms because of their shorter roots due to the abundance of nutrients and water in the forest. Many trees and mosses grow from and over the fallen tree trunks.
I know very little about horses in general, let alone miniature ponies. To me, the brown one here looks a little tubby! But who knows--that might just be their general shape. No shape shame here, I suppose. :D © 2013-Current.
It's blossom time in The Netherlands, and I had a ton of images to choose from this week. Most of them were close ups of beautiful flowers of all sorts, but i settled for these reeds, because it's truly a landscape, because the light is so pretty, and because I "saw the light", something I still have to practice with a lot.
