Grifter: I actaully really like the way he turned out, Lone Ranger torso and legs. Deadpool head.
Azrael: I have always had troubles with this character I can never seem to get it right. But I finally have one I'm satisfied with, for now.

Toyman: I've been working on him for a while still not super happy with it but I was trying to find a really creepy face like in the DCAU. I think Syndrome's face works ok, it's pretty creepy.
Crazy Quilt: Neverdone anything with this guy before so I tried it out. I believe the torso is Shakespeare's. CMF witch arm so it has a patch on it which looks cool. The other arm is Scratchy from simpsons, the legs are harley's. The head is captain hook, magneto helmet, and zurg armor backwards.
Ice: She is super simple but I don't think anyone can do it any differently really. Mighty Micros captain cold torso, black widow head, quicksilver hair.

This of course doesn't look like a patio, but the landlord told us more than once that it will look like one 'in summer' (and as always, he forgot to mention which year). The apartment next to the derelict balcony is not the one I'm living in, but the view is bad enough for anyone who is forced to pass by every day. And btw, it's not a good idea to accuse others of 'compulsive hoarding' if your house is a mess like this!

(Das hier sieht natürlich nicht wie eine Terrasse aus, soll aber laut dem Vermieter 'im Sommer' mal eine werden (wie immer hat er vergessen, das Jahr zu erwähnen). Die Wohnung, die zu dem heruntergekommenen Balkon gehört, ist nicht meine, aber der Anblick ist schon schlimm genug für jeden, der gezwungenermaßen jeden Tag hier vorbeigehen muß. Übrigens ist es keine gute Idee, andere als "Messie" zu beschimpfen, wenn das eigene Haus ein solcher S**stall ist!

Some more of the cables the former landlord installed in the basement. I wonder if this installation was clear to him (but I seriously doubt it). The neighbors and me had some problems with our electricity bills.
So this is the property of someone who refers to other people's stuff as 'this pile of junk'.
'Project staircase' was started in summer 2006 and is still not finished. Not very surprising if you know that many other 'projects' of the same kind have been started in the meantime - all of which will probably get finished 'in summer'. The landlord is responsible for all of these projects - he is owner of the property, facility management service and construction company in one.
The unfinished wooden handrail is starting to rot already.

'Projekt Treppenaufgang' wurde im Sommer 2006 begonnen und ist immer noch nicht vollendet. Wenig überraschend, wenn man weiß, daß zwischenzeitlich noch mehrere solcher 'Projekte' angefangen wurden - die alle vermutlich 'im Sommer' fertig sein werden. Verantwortlich für all diese Projekte ist der Vermieter - Grundstücksbesitzer, Hausmeisterservice und Baufirma in einer Person.
Das nie fertiggestellte hölzerne Treppengeländer fängt schon an zu faulen.)
Electrical conduit in the basement of the house I used to live in. As I mentioned already, the landlord is one of these do-it-yourself guys - though I'm not sure if he's also responsible for this.
Nothing ever happened with this never completed fence, so we decided to make it look a bit better - with the help of some paint, soil and flower seeds. There's another problem with this part of the garden that made it a little more difficult though: it's dark (the sun almost never reaches it) and damp. We decided to go with plants that grow in the woods, right under the trees. It's nice to have your own sweet woodruff if you plan to make some Maibowle (May wine)! Woodland strawberries aren't that bad either, and they are growing like crazy, even under these bad conditions.
Next summer of course 'project fence' still wasn't finished, but at least it looked a lot better!
(Nichts ist mit diesem nie fertiggestellten Zaun je vorangegangen, also haben wir beschlossen, die Ecke zumindest ein wenig schöner herzurichten - mit Hilfe von etwas Farbe, Erde und Blumensamen. Nun gibt es aber noch ein weiteres Problem mit diesem Teil des Gartens: es ist dort dunkel (die Sonnenstrahlen kommen nie wirklich hin) und feucht. Wir haben uns deshalb entschieden, es mit Waldpflanzen zu versuchen, die ja auch unter den Bäumen wachsen. Es ist nett, wenn man - so man vorhat, eine Maibowle anzusetzen - seinen eigenen Waldmeister ernten kann! Walderdbeeren sind auch nicht schlecht, und die wachsen selbst an einem solch ungemütlichen Ort wie verrückt.
Im nächsten Sommer war natürlich 'Projekt Zaun' immer noch nicht fertig, aber zumindest sah es dort nun sehr viel besser aus!)
This is another one of the landlord's long-term (i.e. never finished) projects: project fence. He poured the foundation for the fence posts, fixed everything with wood and bar clamps - and was done.
After years, the rusty bar clamps fell off, and the wood is rotting. A fence was never attached. What you can see here is an interim solution the neighbors put there.
The white thing that is hanging around here is actually a power cable. It was meant for a lamp, but the lamp never happened. Instead - after weeks of problems with power and blowing out fuses - we found out that it was a live wire! Now at least that is fixed, but of course there's still no lamp (which would have been the easiest way to fix it, btw - and a better looking at that.).
(Das ist ein weiteres Langzeit-(d.h. nie vollendetes)Projekt des Vermieters: Projekt Zaun. Er hat ein Fundament für die Zaunpfosten gegossen, alles mit Holz und Schraubzwingen befestigt - und war fertig.
Nach Jahren sind die rostigen Schraubzwingen dann abgefallen, und das Holz modert vor sich hin. Ein Zaun ist nie daran befestigt worden. Was man hier sieht ist ein Provisorium, das die Nachbarn irgendwann einmal genervt angebracht haben.
Das weiße Ding, das hier auch noch herumhängt, ist wirklich ein Stromkabel. Es war eigentlich für eine Lampe gedacht, aber die Lampe ist ebenfalls nie passiert. Stattdessen fanden wir nach Wochen mit Stromproblemen und herausfliegenden Sicherungen heraus, daß das Kabel unter Strom stand! Zumindest das wurde dann repariert, aber eine Lampe wurde natürlich immer noch nicht angebracht (obwohl das der einfachste Weg gewesen wäre, dieses Kabel zu 'entschärfen' - und der schönere noch dazu).
