A bird that responds well to predator control as they are ground nesters and generally live their lives in close proximity to the ground....

Exploring glaciers ftw 🙋 Walking on a glacier is something that will never get old. That's why we need to do all we can to protect them and our beautiful planet.
This beautiful young lady is called Lean & Classy, and she is at that ! She's about the calmest horse I've ever come across and her temperament is just awesome !! This was taken with a cell phone because the damn battery in the camera died, we all have those days...but never the less, it turned out great !

Some doors are not God’s will for you to enter them and God closes it for your protection. God knows everything and He knows if you’re on a path that leads to danger. It's a good idea to talk to God continuously to know His will.
When God opens a door He will never cause you to compromise or contradict His Word. Many times God will confirm His will through His Word and through others such as godly counsel.
Usually you know it’s an open door from God when you have to rely on Him. If God doesn’t make a way there will be no way.

**What a great time of the year! I know you all are enjoying it too! I am still traveling and teaching a lot, and also having a lot of company...well, after all it is Spring Break and the weather here is gorgeous! But something I love about you all and the flickr community and that is this...that we can just pick up where we left off with each other & connect when time allows us to post...so thankful for that! Looking forward to seeing your treasures!
I never posted a landscape photo on my Photostream before, a part those few occasions where I used them as background for Lego or other collectibles photos.
I usually focus on storytelling using my collectibles and it always requires so much effort I don’t have a lot of time for other hobby activities and so I prioritize.
Over the years I took a very large amount of landscape photos. It is was the genre that saw me start photography years ago.
Browsing all the photos I took over the years would require a lot of time and “prioritization” strikes back.
However few days ago I managed to take this photo as I was trying to set up an outdoor scene for my Lego and action figures photos (it’s getting quite hot here and sometimes it’s not easy to set up the scenes for those photos) and I decided to share it with you :)
I won’t bother you with geographic details but if you are curious the location of this photo is near the Cinque Terre, a rather famous location in Liguria, Italy.

I never get tired of the wide open space of the West of Ireland, especially the sandy beaches and that fresh breeze that fills your soul with life! This beach at Cross, Belmullet is uinque in that it has a thin film of water which provides wonderful reflections of a timeless skyscape, my Uyuni ;-)
I never knew that sky could look like this. I have never seen such rich browns, purples, oranges, reds, pinks, all on display in a way that defied explanation and doubled the heartbeat. Twisted tubes of turbulent air, brightly colored rain bands, a mix of light and ink-dark clouds, lightning, and fierce winds. On this very special afternoon, two critical elements combined: a break at the western horizon perfectly timed at sunset plus an incredible fast moving and fast brewing storm above Page, AZ. It was forming so quickly that even mere 15 minutes before this spectacle began, I was still determined to shoot the last bite elsewhere. However, when I saw the almost black clouds forming so fast and expanding over White Pocket, I became one of those comical panting sprinting photographers who carry a baton called tripod. I ran in a Usain Bolt style to the famous resilient pine tree that saves the day when you (again) do not know what to compose directly east. Like the clouds twisted by turbulence, I twisted the famous composition to have the tree appear on fire. I was on fire as well witnessing the inferno, the gateway to hell, the unimaginable, your wildest dreams. The only one at White Pocket, I was scared looking up the menacing vortex, but I knew that I had to preserve this moment for mankind. For myself. For all of you who love nature and stand in awe before violent but beautiful weather.
Just standing around waiting for something to happen. Unexpected heritage leader, ditch lights on, and a sun hole at just the right place and time.
A CN hopper train blasts north through Dyersburg, TN en route to a whole day of sitting around at South Fulton, KY. Second best thing I saw all day.
