I found it troubling and incredibly timely with the current situation in the world. If you have the time to read it, it takes the idea of never giving up to an absurd level.
I don't believe we should never give up but perhaps there are times that we need to shift our ideas and expectations. Please, if you are struggling, don't give up! Reach out and let someone know what you are going through.

The fog never lifted today. The most obvious trip with the camera was the one to the park, but then I remebered the cemetery. It was bitterly cold, and the place completely deserted but not quiet as water was dripping off the trees and making eerie noises. I grabbed a few shots and hurried back onto the road and to the comfort and warmth of my car.

Ardnamurchan never disappoints...
I'm just back from a two week trip to the peninsula on the west coast of Scotland. Lots of walking, exploring, a little bit of wild swimming and plenty of time with my favourites; the Pine Marten.
The jumping shot is an image I've had in my mind's eye for some time. I tried it last year and had some luck, but knew I could do better. I'm really chuffed with this image plus quite a few others over a few evenings trying it!

A group of visitors walk the boardwalk to the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. This gigantic hot pool is impossible to fully take in from the ground and is really best seen from the air. So where is my helicopter when I need it?
If you want to be blown away check out this image of the Grand Prismatic Spring from the air. The boardwalk in the lower left is the same as that seen in the upper part of this image.
