The analysis of football teams as networks of individuals.
Connections between a player and the rest of the team according (here 2 levels). Position in the field are measures according the to area where each player receives the pass (centroid with weights). Size of the node represent the "betweenness" of each player. That is it represents how the ball-flow between other players depends on that particular player.

Elite6 Business Networking www.elite6.co.nz
We are a progressive and forward thinking business networking organisation that brings local businesses together each week for an hour of interactive networking.
At each meeting one member delivers a 15-minute presentation to the meeting.
Then, each person speaks for five minutes about their business while sitting at a table of six. Tables are mixed each week, so you get to meet different people. This is a major point of difference with Elite6 compared to other networking groups. Members are encouraged to meet outside the Elite6 meetings for further discussion about how their businesses might collaborate and/or refer to each other.
We also promote each business online with the Elite6 Members Directory each member has the ability to post Blogs and Events! Again this is distinctive to Elite6. Several groups meet each week in Ferrymead, Cashmere, Rolleston, Christchurch City, Tower Junction, Rangiora, Papanui, Waimakariri, Avonhead, Merivale and Sydenham with more groups springing up all the time in other areas.
We’d love to have you visit one of our groups so If you are interested in joining us Register online and one of our Facilitators will contact you!

BUILT ENVIRONMENT NETWORKING - HELD THE FIRST LONDON EVENT AT THE CENTRAL HALL IN WESTMINSTER.©RUSSELL SACH - 0771 882 6138
A major advertising campaign ran from Sunday 28th September 1986 to launch the Network Card. A novel new media was to advertise Network Cards on milk bottles delivered to doorsteps by Unigate and Co-Op Dairies throughout the NSE area.
I want to emphasize right now that I did not do this to the in-built network distribution box. The -- I'll call them "technicians" -- do not route and label cables to the standards to which I am accustomed. I had to ring-out many of the cables myself to determine where they were going. (You can seem my masking-tape tags on some the cables.)
If you look into the box, you'll see that someone has spliced-in a power bar (which is sitting on top of the box) by cutting off its plug and tapping into the mains, holding the whole thing together with a small amount of electrical tape. The same person installed the ADSL line-splitter. Not really a five-9's installation, but it'll do.
Junction boxes on the left (mounted on the door) seen from top to bottom are: telephone patch box, telephone patch extention and 10/100Mbps switch. The blue cables coming off the switch are my patch cords that are connected to a router/internet gateway. I use the 10/100 switch to distribute network to the slower devices in the house.
