Mr Rachmat Irwansjah during the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Institut Pasteur International Network on 23 November 2010 in Hong Kong. During the event, Mr Irwansjah showcased the ASEF Network for Public Health.
El objetivo principal de esta actividad es facilitar el intercambio de información entre empresas donde se puedan dar a conocer los servicios de las mismas para crear espacios de cooperación y posibles alianzas entre empresas. Este encuentro también servirá para acoger y dar la bienvenida a empresas de reciente incorporación a la asociación, así como para afianzar a los socios con más antigüedad dentro de la asociación.

A Project Logistics Myanmar joined forces with Park Royal Hotel Yangon to create a very special evening of networking in association with AMCHAM chapter Myanmar.
The Chapter recently acquired its 100th member Proctor & Gamble, to celebrate this mile stone a networking event was held at the newly refurbished Club 5 situated underneath the Park Royal Hotel, CEA Project Logistics Myanmar co-sponsored with Park Royal to ensure a professional yet fun event would take place.
Although the start time was stated at 6pm such was the anticipation for this event that guests arrived as early as 530pm to ensure they would not miss out. As the guests entered Club 5 they were met by the very attentive Park Royal staff presenting a selection of free flow drinks and exquisite canapes.
By 630pm 100 business professionals had passed through the doors and were enjoying the food and beverage while the Club 5s very own Latino band kept the guests entertained with their lively set list.
Judy Benn Executive Director of AMCHAM took over proceedings to give thanks to attendees and sponsors before presenting Proctor & Gamble their certificate on being the 100th Member.
John Hamilton Country Manager CEA Myanmar also took to the mic reiterating Judy’s thanks to the attendees and the people behind the scenes who made the event happen, John added “This is a first for Myanmar to have such a high quality networking evening, and you have all been part of it, we hope to see you all at the next event”
As the free flow finished at 8pm Park Royal kindly provided a promotion of buy one get one free much to the delight of the crowd. Later in the evening a free prize draw was made with four lucky winners receiving food and beverage vouchers for the various restaurants throughout Park Royal.
In total 120 business professional were in attendance making it a resounding success for Yangon, as nothing like this had been done before. The party continued on late into the evening and the feedback was nothing but positive.

Il Board di ECSITE si è svolto mercoledì 4 marzo a Città della Scienza, come simbolo di solidarietà da parte di tutta la comunità internazionale.
Ecsite rappresenta la principale rete di comunicazione scientifica in Europa: ne fanno parte più di 400 membri, tra musei, science centre e istituzioni scientifiche che accolgono nel loro complesso ogni anno più di 40 milioni di visitatori europei.
Vi partecipano le istituzioni più prestigiose, tra cui la Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie di Parigi, il Science Museum di Londra e il Deutsches Museum di Monaco.
All’indomani dell’incendio la direttrice dell’Ecsite, Catherine Franche, e l’allora presidente Robert Firmhofer, erano accorsi a Napoli per testimoniare la costernazione di tutta la comunità internazionale per il tragico evento. In questi due anni la solidarietà si è manifestata in svariate forme di sostegno, dal prestito di elementi espositivi da parte di vari musei, alla realizzazione in varie istituzioni europee di eventi dedicati a Città della Scienza.
La scelta di svolgere questa riunione del Board proprio il 4 marzo a Città della Scienza intende non solo confermare l’atteggiamento solidale, ma anche testimoniare attivamente il supporto della comunità internazionale al programma futuro di ricostruzione, così come espresso dalla nuova presidente Ecsite, Rosalia Vargas, Presidente del Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Ciência Viva in Portogallo – che, in un appassionato discorso, attribuisce a Città della Scienza un ruolo chiave per lo sviluppo sociale, culturale ed economico della città di Napoli.
