Flower Day is the once-a-year opportunity for guided garden tours with a Park Seed horticulturist.
don't usually go for pastels and bright colors, but at this point in the season I miss color. This necklace is Ogalala Lace without the bridges in dusty rose and lime color-lined seed beads. The small bicone crystals are Emerald Satin and Rose Satin. The pendant is a an Erinite round faceted crystal and a Vitrail Light tear drop crystal. All crystals are Swarovski.
This ornament was a lot of fun to make. First I covered the ornament in beaded netting, then I "filled" in the holes from the netting with crystal beads. Finally I gave the ornament lots and lots of fringe.

This is a long story, I saw some people putting little fish in the river, about 4" long, stocking it. They were reading some little ceremony text and then they were gone. I went back to school to get my camera. Anyhow, here is this guy trying to net them and he is keeping them. He is not too happy at me with my camera and is waving his net at me. Other locals were yelling at him to leave me alone because I am just a dumb tourist, ( I think that's what they said, and it's not too far from the truth), anyhow this guy just yelled back. I also have video of the conversation ....
