Blue anemones at Nesodden, Norway

RÃ¥dhusbrygge 1 is the easternmost of the wharves and is closest to Akershus Fortress. Pier 1 is 178 meters long, pier 2 is 308 meters, pier 3 is 310 meters and pier 4, the westernmost of the piers (closest to Aker Brygge and the former Vestbanestasjonen), is 175 meters long.

From Rådhusbrygge 4, the boat goes to Bygdøy, with stops at Dronningen and Bygdøyneset, and from 21 March 2015, the boats to the islands in the harbor basin: Hovedøya, Langøyene, Gressholmen, Lindøya, Bleikøya and Nakholmen. Furthermore, Rådhusbrygge 4 is used as a staging area or waiting area for the Nesodd boats, which now depart from the inner part of Tingvallakaia, also known as Aker brygge.

The wharves were previously named Utstikker 1, Utstikker 2 and so on in order from the fortress towards Aker Brygge. Outriggers 1 and 2 were then in use for the "daddy boats", the passenger boats that went to the wharves in the Bunnefjord and Indre Oslofjord, later referred to as the Nesodd boats. The ferries to Nesoddtangen were operated by Nesodden-Bundefjord Dampskipsselskap until the summer of 2009 when the shipping company Norled (formerly Tide Sjø) took over. At Utstikker 3, the training ship Christian Radich had berth.

Inner Oslofjord with the islands including Sjursøya, and Nesodden - Oslo Norway

Oslo harbor with all the ferries coming and going 😊

They are on the move to the islands in the fjords and to a place called Nesodden.

Lots of people are travelling out to the small islands to enjoy swimming and barbequing.

It has been so dry for weeks now, so barbeque isn't allowed, but it's nice even tho to travel out to these islands.

All the yachts are pretty cool to watch too, some of them are pretty big.

Anchoring at AkerBrygge must be pretty nice for them, it's full of life here all season, lots of restaurants with various food.

It's indeed very nice.

White building bottom right is Villa Grande.

Not long from the metropolis of Norway, you'll find undisturbed places like this.

from a few weeks ago - sunset on Flekkerøya, Norway.

At little pond called Engsdammen, the Oslofjord and Slemmestad on the other side of the fjord.

Paddling across the fjord on way to an island, have to wait for the Color Line cruiser on it's way to Denmark.

Oslo in the background, a boat to Nesodden on the right.

Not long from the metropolis of Norway, you'll find these undisturbed places. I guess Oslo is not that big ;)
