This 366 photo is my 43rd for my 366 and the first for We are Here. The theme is Nerds and Geeks. I was going to give this a miss but then I found my mum's old autograph book. She had successfully collected a few autographs,mainly from friends and she had given it to me to use. She had a lovely friendship wall filled with friend's names which I copied and thought I'd get my friends to fill in,only I didn't have many friends just then...
Some of the definitions of nerd include:
a person considered to be socially awkward, boring, stylish, etc.
An intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit:
I'm not sure autograph hunting is unsociable as it involves social interaction but it is one of those things that might be considered 'nerdy' and as I was quite shy and finding it difficult to get in with the in crowd in the early days of senior school I thought this might fit the theme.
And at last I've managed to merge two photos together using an adjustment layer ...hooray!
Rules:
* Set up your camera
* Set the timer to two seconds
* RUN in front of the camera and try to get as far away from it as possible before the shutter goes.
