I wanted to do a unique take on BrickNerd's survivor theme for Nerdvember, so I made this set of Nerdly themed nesting dolls. When the outermost Nerdly is destroyed (by anything from small children to being hit by a deer), the inner Nerdlies still survive!

This build uses all parts in existing colors and is structurally sound. The studs on the second smallest Nerdly are red police hats and on the second largest use part 98585.

We decided Josh is a dork, based on the cartoon options.

My alter-ego is someone that is complete opposite of me. I do not think I am a nerd at all and usually not the one to just open a book and starting studying. I also am not the type of person who just reads a book for fun. I choose to do a nerd who seems to be alone, by her-self. I choose to put the picture into black in white because if it was in color I think it would have been a lesser message that is going to be viewed by the audience. I used my clothes and my glass to symbolize a nerd. I also did my hair in a certain way to make it look “nerdish.” I only used a little lighting for doing this picture because it is supposed to be like dark and lonely. It differs from my traditional portrait because I use a lot of lighting in my other picture, and in this one there is very less lighting.

Ryan had his final Chemotherapy session today, so as I promised, I had a glass of scotch and we chatted for an hour or so, over skype, putting my computer on the 40-inch HDTV :)

These glasses are so cute! too bad they are the wrong prescription, bent to hell, and have a scratch in them, or I'd wear them all the time! Glasses suit me.
