Zipper the Rocket & The Double B

Busy, busy, busy.... I have been everywhere except on flickr the past couple of days. Work, meetings, sleep, and a terrible feeling of not remembering everything that has to be done. Slamming the keyboards of the computers at work, updating things hour upon hour, cursing the fire department because of all the changes they want done. "Ready by tomorrow?" "'Scuse moi? More like next week." I'm doing 12 hour days, not 24.

I'm done soon, very soon. But, they probably have some other major changes before the end of next week. It's something about the approaching spring which makes these authorities all giddy-upped about doing things in a new way.

Speaking of spring, we're having the first temperatures above 0'C (32F) for the first time since beginning of December. The roads are all messed up and there's water everywhere. And still no sign of any diminishing of the snow masses.... I wonder what it will look like when it really starts to melt.... Flooding alerts baby.

But, we're back to minus again as of right now, which is good. It's funny how a couple of days of thawing makes you long for some real winter weather, even if you have been complaining about that said weather for the past couple of months. Hah.

I have a problem, a huge problem. I have to decide tomorrow where I'll be going for my vacation in late April. Uh-oh. I don't want to! Hate decisions. I had already decided in favour of New York, but now I just don't know... It would be so wonderfully easy, a place I already know, with lots and lots to do and see, the cherry trees in bloom etc. But something is holding me back. And that is quite infuriating. Because.... there's also London, Dublin, Prague, Ljubljana, Barcelona.....

I'm not a decisionmaker, always getting anxiety attacks about it, ending up a nervous wreck. For teeny tiny things, like... which ear rings shall I wear today, or... what kind of food shall I order. Well, no. Thank goodness no. Only bigger ones, often involving a lot of cash. And that is probably a good thing I guess.

Well, I have to get some sleep now, hopefully getting through the day tomorrow, as I just remembered I have to talk to some Estonian governmental guests... in English. Good riddance I say. I'll probably wear my bed linen out this night, tossing and turning. Anyone wanting to give me a neatly done presentation about the Finnish governmental communication network, in fine and proper English? Thank you very much.

I hope you all are having a wonderful week, and I hope to be able to catch up with all of you in the next couple of days.... I am so sorry for being absent. Please try to upload as little as possible, otherwise I'll have a h*** of a task ahead of me! :)

Portavogie boats today with the Julester. Never been there before, loved it, especially if I had been dressed for it! Shorts were not the order of the day :)
