Volunteers Needed! These photos show the trash currently in this historic stream. We can certainly use your help! Please mark your calendars for our cleanup of the Historic Bread and Cheese Creek on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, we clean up the section of Historic Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream and American River’s Nation River Cleanup as well as Reclaim the Bay! We have also attached an event flyer for your use.

We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them

Volunteers are also needed to arrive early and stay late for setup and break down. Photographers and Videographers also needed!

" .. It's a quarter after one

I'm alone and I need you now

Said I wouldn't call

But I lost all control

And I need you now

And I don't know how I can do without

I just need you now "

Anyone know what this is?

Okay, I need to practise drawing Corinthian capitals a bit more, but this is a revision exercise for the Stephen Cefalo Strathmore 2013 online workshop (worked on Strathmore Toned Gray, 9x12") as well as preparation for some sketching tomorrow with the Urban Sketchers Australia (Sydney) group at Sydney University, Australia's oldest university.

Next time I'll get the foundation right so that this Green Man isn't slipping away to the left quite so much.

My Samsung scanner is scanning this as "blue" whereas it is in fact quite a warm gray by comparison.

... to get early election results in HoCo, Arkansas.

The TV Stations in Little Rock don't reach this far so we have to put up with irrelevant drivel from the local stations in Shreveport Louisiana.

They say Blanche Lincoln won so there's low-hanging fruit in November for Arkansas Republicans to take over a seat in the U.S. Senate for the first time since reconstruction!

I congratulate Senator Lincoln for defeating the Halter campaign which was heavily funded by big labor unions and the Uber-Left group MoveOn.org.

(At the moment Blanche is way behind in the polls.)

We need a war

We need a war to show‘em

We need a war to show‘em that we can

We need a war to show‘em that we can do it

Whenever we say we need a war…

If they mess with us

If we think they might mess with us

If we say they might mess with us

If we think we need a war, we need war

Chorus

We need a war,

If we think we need a war.

We need a war.

If we think we need a war.

A war to make us feel safe,

A war to make‘em feel sorry.

Whoever they are…..

If they mess with us

If we think they might mess with us

If we say they might mess with us

If we think we need a war, we need war

Chorus

Can we do it?

Sure we can.

We need a war.

We need a war.

We need a war.
