This is one of those pics with no reason:). No pies today, no major events, no nothing. Just a regular day with lots going on and not a whole lot of time for my 365...so I took 5 shots and this is the least annoying...
Things on the go...need to finsih my works cited, figure out a kick ass title and print up my paper; get the house ready for 7 12 year old boys and their sleepover ( J's birthday); need to call husband to get the cake; need to brush the dogs so they stop shedding; need to start new paper; need to call my sister; need to call my mother; need to feed my kids; need to call the kennel; need to make a coffee!!!...oh and just needed to get the kids some maple syrup to make "taffy on the snow"...
I do look like I am falling in this pic - oh well...falling into the vast pit of domestic tedium I guess:)
Thousands of gypsies and travellers descended on the quiet Cumbrian town of Appleby, in early June, for the annual horse fair. Although there are some who would rather it didn't happen, it is a colourful, crazy celebration of an important culture and freely available for anyone to enjoy!
I still need to blush his horns, give him a body-blushing and redo his face-up. Oh and I need to give him a wig as well, but still didn't find the perfect one for him :c But even though he is not finished at all, we went outside today to the park. I thought this was the perfect place to take some pictures. He seemed to agree until I did want him to stand straight up... It went okay until his hat decided to try out the water. Well, it was cold... His hat and horns are still drying and I probably need to wash the hat because it's a little dirty :S

It's hard to take a picture while you're mixing up a batch of sugar cookies, but I couldn't resist getting a shot of my would-be assistant baker. Sidenote: I'm going to attempt to bring a foster home today. Cross your fingers that things go ok. Fortunately, we have a couple of back-up plans in the event that it just won't work out.

Are Rottweilers loyal? Yes. But like German Shepherds, they need to be trained to form a close bond with you and to see you as their leader/parent.
And like GSDs, they are happiest when they have a job to do - they love to work. In addition to obedience training, once you have completed the advanced level, consider certification for search and rescue dogs, good dogs, barn hunting, etc.
Or get certified as a therapy dog, visit nursing homes or veterinary offices, etc. You can also get a dog backpack and strap it on your Rottweiler when you walk him, with a water bottle in each side pocket - this will give him a tangible sense of pride and confidence.
The more spirit you give your dog, the more loyal and affectionate he will be.
Compared To Rottweilers, Are German Shepherds More aggressive?
A study on aggressive dogs found that German Shepherds made up 15% of the population and Rottweilers made up 5%.
Even though German Shepherds are a more prevalent breed. Any dog can become violent if you do not correctly train them. However, this does not necessarily imply that they are more aggressive.
Although both breeds have a reputation for aggression, this is an incorrect stereotype. Although the German Shepherd's razor-sharp fangs, menacing growl, and the Rottweiler's towering stature may appear frightening, these lovely canines are not aggressive if they are properly socialized and taught.
