I had a rake through my wife's jewelry box to find a small but interesting piece for the theme.
I lit this with a ring light from RHS with silver reflector underneath and a gold reflector on the LHS.

I've been asked to create necklaces for two co-maids of honor in an October wedding. It's an evening wedding, and they'll be wearing gorgeous, strapless brown taffeta dresses.
This is one of the sample designs ... Swarovski® Austrian crystal beads in Smoked Topaz and Light Smoked Topaz, sterling silver bead caps, and a golden Swarovski® Baroque pendant.
Faux bronze sculpted polymer clay pendant with an ammonite (extinct cephalopod), moss jasper, and tiger's eye gemstone beads. Expanding my cephalopod obsession out into the fossil record.
Made of Lumina, a few vintage beads, seed beads, freshwater pearls, and sewn to a felt base. This one was made differently than my past necklaces. The felt base gives it a little more durability and allows for attaching beads. It took several days to sculpt and assemble.
Enjoy the splendor of this chunky statement necklace in giant pearls and quartz.
A single blue quartz rose dangles softly amongst giant multicolored pearls. A sterling silver toggle clasp finishes the piece nicely.
Necklace measures 16" (40.64 cm) in length.

as I told my SIL, today we in never-neverland are without water, again, because some pipe from the water tank to the house is leaking.
sigh...
it throws off our rhythm.
so today I count my blessings and try to look for small treasures:
a small hand-blown glass dish from leon from probably 30+ years ago. it holds a worry stone and a shiny black rock.
some wooden frogs and a necklace from jon and his # 1 wife from thailand. # 1 wife made the necklace.
a small glass jar full of colorful stones from a friend's store.
.....several treasures among many.
oh, and how could I forget...I have 4 dogs upstairs with me wanting hugs while they are waiting for their daddy to get back from the store. bearing water, I hope.
