I like the door in this photo and thought it would be an interesting subject. I also like the relationship between the wall and sidewalk.
At the suggestion from a fellow Whirlpudian, I've applied a gradiant ND filter to this sunset image. The effect isn't at all bad :-)

While driving up the mountain on our way to Dos Rios, we came across this and many other streams like this. Peaceful little streams, that were perfect chances to try out my newly purchased B+W 6 stop ND.
The trip to Dos Rios was a complete failure by the way... after driving for well over an hour up this steep and winding gravel road in the middle of nowhere we came to a bridge that had been washed out... But the trip was not totally wasted, as I was able to snap a few on the way back down.
