Navy Pier very early in the morning
Was in Chicago from 5 a.m. through late in the evening, so I have a lot of catching up to do.
Please press L
Thank you.
Did you know? Every Wednesday and Saturday here in Chicago we get to see some amazing fireworks. The event is pretty spectacular I might say but it is very difficult to find the good location to get a good photograph of the event. Thanks to my dear friend @nz.bfphoto we got to enjoy it and capture it at the same time. This is a 10 exposure blended and stitched pano. What do you think?

2019 trip to Chicago to visit our niece, Michigan to run a marathon, Niagara Falls, and finally Toronto
Chicago Album: Photos from our brief stop in Chicago to visit our niece. We walked around downtown Chicago on a perfect summer evening and visited a few of the more common tourist sites.
Navy Pier is one of the most visited attractions in the entire Midwestern United States and is Chicago's number one tourist attraction.

Chicago from the River, taken yesterday afternoon on a boat tour.
Hello again! I was absent on Flickr for three days I hope you like my come back picture :). I also hope that the people who celebrated on July 4th had a great time.
Hola de nuevo! Espero sus buenos comentarios o malos, pero constructivos :P!
#18 Rachel
This picture is #18 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page.
I met Rachel at the end of Navy Pier towards the end of the day. I first noticed her hair and bright red lipstick. After introducing myself and the project, she readily agreed to be part of my project, but she only had a few minutes before her friends caught up.
In the few minutes we had, I learned that Rachel is from London, England, and is a financial consultant with Accenture. She was in Chicago for two weeks training.
I positioned Rachel with the skyline behind her, which also put the setting sun at her back. My wife held a white reflector to balance the light somewhat. When I showed Rachel the picture, she really liked it and asked "How did you do that?". I have to admit I am pleased with how it turned out.
Thank you Rachel for being part of my project. It was a pleasure meeting you!
