Sometimes the sky carries the weight of what we cannot say.
In silence, the clouds gather — heavy, wild, and full of stories.
I stood beneath them, not afraid… just listening.
There is a kind of silence that only the desert knows — where the sands whisper stories of wind, time, and solitude.
Nature doesn’t hurry, yet everything is perfectly shaped. Sometimes, emptiness holds the most meaning.
Manchmal sind es genau diese Zwischenmomente, die die stärksten Eindrücke hinterlassen: Als das Licht noch zögerlich über die Landschaft fiel und der Regen schon am Horizont fiel, entstand dieses Bild. Die Sächsische Schweiz zeigt sich hier von ihrer dramatischen Seite – bewegt, weit, kraftvoll.
Es geht mir bei solchen Aufnahmen nicht nur um das perfekte Licht, sondern um das Gefühl, das bleibt. Um Kontraste, Stimmungen und diese kleinen flüchtigen Augenblicke, in denen Natur zur Bühne wird.

A quiet morning unfolds over the Krickenbeck Lakes as the golden sun rises behind a veil of mist. Framed by an old oak tree and dense riverside greenery, this view captures the serene magic of dawn at one of the most diverse wetland landscapes in the Lower Rhine region.
