Ich habe mich gestern Nachmittag kurzfristig entschieden eine kleine Bachwanderung zu unternehmen.
In Bergöschingen bei Hohentengen.
Man muss nicht immer an die Exklusivsten Orte der Welt reisen um atemberaubende Orte zu sehen meistens reicht es, wenn man nur vor die Haustüre geht und die eigene Landschaft Schätzt.
Yesterday afternoon I decided to take a short walk along the stream.
In Bergöschingen near Hohentengen.
You don't always have to travel to the most exclusive places in the world to see breathtaking places, mostly it's enough to just go to your doorstep and appreciate your own landscape.
Отряд древних летающих насекомых, насчитывающий в мировой фауне свыше 6650 видов. Это относительно крупные насекомые, с подвижной головой, большими глазами, короткими щетинковидными усиками, удлинённым стройным брюшком и четырьмя прозрачными крыльями с густой сетью жилок. The "European praying mantis" (Mantis Religiosa) is the only representative of the order of mantis (Mantodea) occurring in Central Europe.
Females can grow up to 75 mm long, males are much smaller and reach a length of up to 60 mm.
The basic coloration ranges from pale green to brown.
The elongated neck shield and the large triangular, very mobile head are striking!

Weibchen können bis zu 75 mm lang werden, die Männchen sind deutlich kleiner und erreichen eine Länge bis zu 60 mm.
Die Grunfärbung reicht von zartgrün bis braun.
Auffallend sind der verlängerte Halsschild und der große dreieckige, sehr bewegliche Kopf!

Marie Curtis Park is a public park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at the mouth of the Etobicoke Creek on Lake Ontario
Red kites have a rusty reddish-brown body with a deeply forked tail. Their head is pale grey and patterned with dark streaks, and they have a yellow beak with a dark hook and pale, striking eyes.
Their angular wings span 185cm. On the upper side they are red-brown at the shoulders with darker tips and edges, while underneath there are characteristic blocks of white before darker, fingered wing tips.
I don't own a macro specific lens, I have one on my target list when finances allow (new mango wood furniture for our lounge has taken recent priority !) However I am enjoying the genre using my current crop of lenses in the meantime.
