I am honored that this capture was chosen as cover image of "Flickr Macro Passion" and "Nature Capture" in August 2022

It’s such a small window in time when the feeding occurs outside the nest area, but today they sat on the edge of the stables, in bright sunlight allowing me to use a high shutter speed and Low ish ISO, the results were just breathtaking. With the naked eye all that was seen was a flurry of action that lasted just over a second, this was captured in 1/3200th of a second. A moment of perfect nature captured forever.

Auch in dieser KW war für unser OnceAWeek-Projekt das Thema Formen der Natur present, was sich bei Matschwetter erst einmal nicht wirklich spannend gestalten lässt. So hat der Botanische Garten hergehalten, angenehm warm und auch noch dazugelernt. Ich wünsche euch einen schönen Sonntag :)

In this week's week, too, the topic of forms of nature was present for the OnceAWeek project, which isn't really exciting at first when the weather is muddy. So the botanical garden served, pleasantly warm and also learned something new. I wish you a nice Sunday :)

En la baranda de madera del mirador colindante con el "Centro de Interpretación" del Parque Iberá, esta pequeña hembra de Martín Pescador Amazónico (Chloroceryle amazona), estaba absorta en su almuerzo. Al observar peces en la laguna, nos dejó acercarnos a una distancia inusual y no solo no se alejó sino que estuvo a punto de posarse en los zapatos de @chinoalbertoni.

Finalmente nos regaló este hermoso retrato de una "pescadora".

On the wooden railing of the viewpoint adjacent to the "Iberá Park Interpretation Center", this small female Amazon Kingfisher (Chloroceryle amazona), was absorbed in his lunch. Observing fish in the lagoon, he let us approach at an unusual distance and not only did he not walk away but was about to climb into @chinoalbertoni's shoes.

She finally gave us this beautiful portrait of a "fisherwoman".

A cheery, vibrant sight . The poppies were dancing in the breeze as the bees and the skylarks played their tunes above and all around them.
