Northcote Road was never particularly smart when I lived in Battersea. However the tides of gentrification have now swept over the area leaving behind lots of coffee, sourdough bakeries, bistros and craft beer. The popularity amongst (very) affluent 30 something couples has led to the valley of Northcote Road being dubbed 'Nappy Valley'.
Its even closed to traffic at weekends so that 'cafe culture' can thrive! Didn't see any of the market stalls that there used to be down this road....
Brand new nappies, recently purchased. Tried to capture the softness and fluffiness in this pic. Bought for a friend to try out x
For a new mum, something to put all the essentials in! Made with my shapes and things fabric print. Big enough for a few nappies, wipes and mat. Handy carry strap and waterproof inner.
Folded nappies ready for action, don't they look so much more beautiful than a pile of disposables?????

Puff has not napped with me for quite a long time, but all of a sudden he has decided that in the evening we should have a cuddle. Today he had a brand new experience, or at least not something that has happened since he was a wee stray kitty. It has been raining here, and his garden is way on the other side of the two foot wide balcony, and his drinking pond is over there as well. He did make it to his grass, with much shaking of back legs, but on the way inside a big drop of water landed on his head. He looked shocked, scared, curious, and delighted all at the same time. We have spent the last few minutes laughing and in joy over this completely new experience. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
