Macro Mondays, August 16: Paper art

Parody to the Shroud of Turin. It looks like He had a good meal:-) and some wine...

They're pretty messy eaters and sometimes need someone to wipe their chins for them. They don't want to let go of the fish to do it themselves, LOL!

Looking Close... on Friday

Blue and Green

Made with Blender 3.0

This sparrow making sure he gets something to eat while to snow is not piled up on it, either that or trying to get some food before the others show up.

Time to bring out the white and gold Christmas Nappery including napkins and table runner.

It puts a smile on one's face to find they are all still white and sparkly gold! HSoS :))

Macro Mondays - Perfect Together

Image measures less than 3" on the long side.

Looking Close on Friday theme: napkin

Ornate and remarkably heavy these metal napkin rings add a little "je ne sais quoi" to the dinner table. The "teapot" is three inches from end of handle to end of spout. The napkin ring behind the teapot is of course a cup. I used a small ring light from the left and window light fill.

Many thanks for your much appreciated favorites and comments.

HMM-- methinks this will be my choice for the theme for today 4/2 "back in the day". does anybody even use fancy cloth napkins much, except for holidays?

After a long time I am with you again.

I guess he was just saving it for later.

"Looking close... on Friday!" and "paper design".

I have a large collection of paper napkins from all over the world, because I used to do decoupage a long time ago. Now I use them mainly to decorate Easter eggs and this year I did it with my granddaughter who was delighted with that way of

decoration.

Have a great weekend ahead and thank you for visiting!

In keeping with the traditions...here are some Chanukah Napkins I've saved. I can't bring myself to use them, so I'll photograph them instead. Happy Chanukah Everyone!

My attempt at the "Looking Close... on Friday" theme "Napkins".

I know, not too good for the environment BUT they were a gift (with the paper placemats) and for large groups, a must for the holidays! Happy Holidays everyone and happy Looking Close on Friday!

While eating my lunch, I wondered how a stack of napkins would look photographed from a low angle and close up. Monumental was how,

Christmas is coming...
