January 19, 2020 - Bosendorfer 214VC Secession Player Grand Piano at the NAMM Show 2020 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Yamaha Exhibits area.
Gil Parris, Bernie Williams (former New York Yankee), and special guest Mike Huckabee (former governor of Arkansas), performing live for the NAMM Pre-Show Block Party at the GoPro Stage on the Grand Plaza. Pre-Show Day (January 22nd, 2014) of the Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim California.
I cheated. This was done about 20 years ago when, as the editor of Guitar World, I organized a whole mess of "jump with guitar" shots at the NAMM show. It was actually in emulation of Philippe Halsman (The Jump Book), which I believe is the inspiration for this current flickr roulette spiel.
Speaking of Guitar World former editor, I couldn't resist plugging my DVD "Roy Buchanan Telly Talk," a documentary on the late great Telecaster-master, available through my blog.
