It took him 33 years, a 100 years ago for a single man to build this. Postman Cheval didn't have an education as architect and his inspiration were the images he saw for faraway places in the postcards he delivered.
He took the stones in the way to work, first in his pockets, after in a wheelbarrow and worked by night.
Too much to see in a single place, to many details and its hard to get them all even since the place is not that big, its basically a medium house, but every corner has a little special detail that can be easily missed.
On these early fall days I’m already daydreaming of past summer days.

MEANING OF THE PAINTING:
in this time of the covid 19 pandemic there is so much to be worried, frightened, concerned, angry, scared, etc., about......the millions infected, all the deaths, the economy, the children who are our future, or elders who embody the history of our past, the people who are desparate for food, and on and on......
some people ( and government leaders) are so cavalier....they act as if this is a hoax, don't follow scientists guidlines, do whatever they want.
this pandemic will never end unless we all do our part......
are you worried? why not? i am!
