Trekking through the Himalayas.
==▼=====▼==
These photos are the journey of a colourblind man backpacking from Thailand to Spain. :)
I bought my first non point-and-shoot camera in Cambodia, July 2012, and hoping to get the hang of this photography thing by the end of my trip.

First glimpse of sunlight over Himalayan range as seen from Nagarkot.
Also first shot using my 70-200mm F2.8.
A freezing cold climb up the hill in the dark to get to the viewing tower for sunrise was made worth it with views over the valley such as this.

A view of the rice terraces below Nagarkot on the Bhaktapur-Nagarkot trekking trail. The village was significantly damaged by the earthquake and most of the villagers were working in the fields or on repairs to houses.

A secret is revealed with each star falling. You just have to concentrate and try to feel what they are whispering in your ears. They'll share the unknown with you. Because stars know it all. They've been watching over us God knows since when. So next time you meet the stars try to seek out the secrets they pass through you. Oh and also, don't forget to share their sories with me :)
Village in Nepal
As far as I know the only place one can hike without special equipment to have a view of Mt. Everest.
I'm grateful to the farmer who let me sleep in his house because I couldn't have reached that place before late evening.
Mt. Everest 8,848.86 m (29,031.7 ft)
More easy transportation by bus or plane since 1977
The fuel shortage in Nepal significantly limited the transportation options for the holidays. This bus was on the road to Nagarkot from Bhaktapur and the load was so great it leaned to its side from the weight.
A misty morning sunrise high up in the hills of Nagarkot, Nepal.
Nagarkot is surrounded by thickly forested hills of pine trees which give you an idyllic escape- with only the wind and the sound of rustling leaves to disturb you.
It is a rustic resort high on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu valley. It is an outstanding hilltop that offers great views of Himalayas, breathtaking mountain scenery and the most impressive views of sunrise and sunset. From Nagarkot, one see the breathtaking views of the major Himalayan peaks of Nepal like Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, dorje Lakpa, sisa pagma, Choyu, Gauri Shankar, etc. On a clear crystal day, one can even see the tip of Mt. Everest (8848 m) from here. Many tourists go to Nagarkot at afternoon, stay at one of the resorts to view early morning sunrise over the mountains.
