i had a dream about javier bardem last night. we eloped in the scottish highlands and it was faaabulous. a part of me still believes it happened. or if my bill clinton premonition was indicative of any superpower, then it will happen....

The hazy cantelope of desire besmirched by memories of my childhood. Chile macho, come forth!
The layers, from the bottom up:
Tostitos tortilla chips
shredded cheddar cheese
canned refried beans
shredded cheddar cheese
chopped raw onion
chopped fresh cilantro
sliced pickled jalapenos
hot Pace Picante Sauce spooned over the layer
chopped fresh tomatoes
sliced fresh avocado
Microwave on 80% power for 90 seconds
then microwave on full power for 1 minute
then microwave on 80% power for 40-60 seconds until cheese is completely melted.

Stopping by Terrible's Gas for gasoline & fingerfoods is not necessarily the same thing as having Terrible Gas, but people sometimes crack jokes to that effect.

We ran over to our local Kroger for ingredients for our dinner and a meal for tomorrow as well.

My wife went to our local Taco Bell and picked us up dinner, including: Nachos Bell Grandes, Beefy 5-layer burritos and Crunchwrap Supremes. We had some leftovers for the next day!

From Vicious Dogs, it's a grilled chicken and apple sausage topped with nacho cheese sauce and fresh, spicy pico de gallo. Really good. The cheese sauce, of all things, makes it. About $5.

Cassava chips, nacho "cheese", black beans, black olives, green onions, homegrown tomatoes & jalapeños.
The "Nacho cheese" sauce on this plate is made with butternut squash, nutritional yeast, soy yogurt, and cashews. It does a good job of pretending to be cheese - and that's from a reformed cheese lover.

I wanted to give my new bento container a whirl... so this was a first go. Had some issues getting the lid on, had to re-accomodate for that (it'll take some getting used to, but I think it will be awesome for longer wraps, sausages, and summer salads!)
