After 3 days work Miss Piggy is finally Finished and ready for the great unveiling!
I decided to paint her pink as she looked a little weird orange...altho' on The Muppets she does sometimes look a bit orange but isn't that just lighting?
Anyhoo,
She's had a full paint job...her shoes and gloves have been painted purple...Her eye make up and eyes repainted and new lashes added.
Her hair was removed, washed brushed, trimmed put back and restyled.
The dress is from The Bear Factory which I adapted this morning to fit her *Grin*

I have thought about this old pull-along toy of mine (or maybe it was my brother's) many times over the decades, wondering if it was still at my parents'/brothers home in England. This was one of many sentimental things that arrived weeks ago in 12 boxes. It has only just sunk in as I type this, that of course this is a tricycle. Both my mother and father were extremely keen cyclists in their younger years - many old photo albums, which also travelled here from England, are filled with wonderful photos of my parents on their various cycling trips. I wonder if this toy was made by my father.

among others I got a feltmates cat, Wawaya mermaid, some David Horvath Spiders, etc.
Well, the result is actually not perfect but not too bad...maybe she needs a next dental care soon...LOL !
After examining her I realised I wasn't gonna get away with a scrub and new hair-do lol but I like a challenge so I began to check her out fully and decide where I'm going with this restoration...seeing as she'd already lost a lot of sawdust (SAWDUST??) from her leg...I'm going for the full re-stuff with wadding....
After sewing her leg up it becomes obvious she will need new fabric to the legs too....so I begin hunting for the perfect fabric (as close to the original red & white stripe as possible)...
The plan is to salvage as much of the original materials as possible and yet bring out the best in her!! wish me luck! :-S
She has a very Weird Hair -do! ... I Just had to take that down and wash it!
And Man...Just look at all that hair!!
It makes her Look like a pretty little mermaid *grin*
Today I just read a review on Olympus E-PL2, the article wrote a lot of thing about the advantage of the camera. I do agreed with the technologies to bring the great stuffs to us and allow us to capture such a high quality image with a small camera.
In other way, Pentax also announced that they intention in camera market. Their will focus on developed DSLR instead follow other AV giant (Sony, Panasonic and Samsung) to launch a Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera. That is such a great to DSLR user that we have much more choice even most of the photographer will stick at a brand rather then switching to other brands. However, I wish to see Canon and Nikon will do something special as Pentax did for Medium Format camera or a DSLR with a Medium Format sensor quality.
Conclusion : Technology keep changing and updating daily, those old stuff like me or canon EOS 650 (Canon 1st EOS camera) was forgotten by the people. I was tiring after 2 weeks didn't do any exercise as my EOS 650 kept at my dry cabinet for more than 2 months. I believe old stuffs may forgotten by the new generation, but that will be some one love to use it and appreciate.
I'm old but I still valuable. ^_^

She probably isn't really an elf but she has an elfin look about her *grin* .... I found them on Ebay U.S ....American's always have cool stuff ....wooohooo!!!!!
I used to turn this shade when I saw my friends had all these really cool things. Long before iPods, Playstation portables and headphones that make you look like a sci-fi character, I use to envy friends who had a swimming pool, a new bike and cool parents. How times have changed !
