In the monastery of Ahylas the Blue Guardian walks in the small old garden trying to forget these times of uncertainty ... the news are scarce in relation to Lady Of Elche.
- Something's not right, I feel! - Said whispering with apprehensive tone.
The mysterious beauty of the statues only thickens his concern about the future ... the future of all of them and their beloved kingdom delivered to the enemy.

The composition was all constructed with photos i take from the Old Cathedral Of Lisbon and the Monteiro-Mor Botanical Park in Lisbon. The Statue of faun is a transformation from a sculpture of Soares dos Reis " O Desterrado" in English "The Exiled" ( 1872) .

Using a bas relief that i take in Saldanha, some years ago and some sculptures. The male figure is "O Desterrado" from the Portuguese Sculptor Soares dos Reis, a iconic sculpture that i use frequently in my works.

In the temple of Amadheus Athena continues to speak with the Guardian of Elche which at one point shows an old book to her host . Visibly surprised Athena is incredulous, for the existence of the Book , after all was nothing but a legend.
- The Book Of Grhayhel ! - Said with surprise as it takes it .
- This Book was written a long time ago Lady of Elche, in a language that few know, an ancient History full of events, legends and powerful characters ... many have existed ... others are legends that time erased in the sands of the deserts !
In the Past, ancient prophets spoke of a powerful Guardian that can travel in Time and had the power over the Matter and Eternal Life.
The ancient God Kings chased him unceasingly to the Winged Lions Mountain. He was wounded by soldiers but the lions did not touch him and stayed with him until his death.
Before dying two swans gave him water and he later transformed them into Krudhyn's first Guardians with powers over matter, time and spirit, the founders of the First Orders which at first were similar. That book was writing by one of them !!
The Guardian died then and ascended to the heavens but first he transformed the Winged Lions into Guardian Angels.

The Thirteenth Ion Prophecy
When Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus and Mercury were strung above the western horizon like a celestial necklace then the main volcanoes of the old continent will erupt with a shaking that will shake the Holy Sepulcher and the Peter's Temple.
In the eyes of the lions of Naples and the seagulls that fly between the islands of the Aeolian archipelago, between the Lands of Fire and Ice the clouds of ash will cover the skies of Rome and the descendants of Odin like a veil that will test faith and the courage of men.

The Fourth Ion Prophecy - The Fall Of Ivan
Between murmurs and betrayals the shadows penetrate slowly like the leprosy in the corridors of the palace of the old Ivan, alone and isolated surrounded by mirrors and ghosts that only he see.
Between the times of the annunciation of the dawn of the Earth Serpent and the twilight of the Horse of Fire the mists cry out again for Pasternak and for the other forgotten poets, for the exiled writers and for so many others persecuted to dethrone the old czar and the regime of the censorship of the soul.
And the cold winter will give way to a spring with shades of gray, rivers of blood and sighs of revolt.
And the poets will again cry out forbidden loves, the filmmakers will make the movies that could not be seen, the artists will paint again with the colors of Hope.
But among all, they will be the young ones that will fight with the life in their hands and the courage in the heart, unlikely heroes of a new nation that will elect again Freedom like the muse of their dreams of Future.
And the cursed mirrors of the Kremlin will break into a thousand pieces, freeing the souls of the victims they enclose for later being evoked in a monument to the Courage of those who never surrendered ... and finally Ivan will fall ... and so many others that neither God nor Men will forget.

Mas entre todos, serão os jovens que lutarão com a vida em suas mãos e a coragem no coração, heróis improváveis de uma nova nação que elegerá novamente a Liberdade como a musa de seus sonhos de futuro.
E os espelhos amaldiçoados do Kremlin se partirão em mil pedaços, libertando as almas das vítimas que eles encerram para depois serem evocados em um monumento à Coragem daqueles que nunca se renderam ... e finalmente Ivan cairá ... e assim muitos outros que nem Deus nem os Homens esquecerão.

A creative classic made with stock images and images of mine.
In the center of the figure Pallas Athena by Rembrandt in Calouste Gulbenkian Museum (modified for this work).
The main personage is based in Pallas, the son of King Evander. In Virgil's Aeneid, Evander allows Pallas to fight against the Rutuli with Aeneas, who takes him and treats him like his own son Ascanius. In battle, Pallas proves he is a warrior, killing many Rutulians.

I have been having vivid dreams so I decided to read, “The Mythic Imagination” by Stephen Larsen. This took me down a rabbit hole of exploring women surrealist painters which has been thrilling. I’ve always loved surrealism, expressionism, intuitive art, narrative painting etc. I am also re-reading “ The Essential Rumi”. So above is a quote from a Rumi poem that I paired with my latest intuitive sketch. I thought the quote went very well with my imagery.

I know in the real myth, Persephone's mother, Demeter, was not with her daughter when Hades dragged Perspehone down to the underworld and forced her to be his bride, but this is the image that I have had in my head for a long time. In my view, there is so much more tension to the story if you can see Demeter's reaction as her daughter is literally torn from her.
