Back from the States. Had enough time for such gimmicks in the evening. A forest picture from the Odenwald, the rest is a graphics tablet
This shows a very old olive tree growing on part of the terrace at our friends' villa in Nice. It seems that the terrace was built around the old olive tree. When they moved into the property about two years ago this bunch of keys were where you see them. They've been tried in every existing lock in the villa but they don't work in any of them. A bit of a mystery which they thought worth keeping by leaving the keys in exactly the same place they found them.

We are new to this neighborhood; at night we saw glowing light and smoke arising from afar, some nights the light was more intense than the others, such as last night.
I have scouted Google Maps and only saw one Exxon Mobile Baytown Marine Terminal in that direction (but really far away), so for now the light and smoke shall remain a mystery.

Mysterious Visitor is a composite image created from images licensed from Shutterstock. The composition, creative work, concept and title are mine. A version of this butterfly was posted earlier, but I realized that there was too much going on in that image and taking out some of the elements would create a more effective image. There are only three images in this composite- the butterfly (with parts blacked out to create space for the other elements), a peacock feather (different parts were used), and a man made background hidden in the wings.
Both the main components have a common feature: The butterfly wings and peacock feathers are iridescent.
