Psalm 118 (The Message)
Thank God because he's good, because his love never quits.
Pushed to the wall, I called to God;
from the wide open spaces, he answered.
God's now at my side and I'm not afraid;
God's my strong champion;
Far better to take refuge in God
than trust in people;

than trust in celebrities.
I was right on the cliff-edge, ready to fall,

I had a root canal (and other fillings) today. It was hell. I put in some headphones (not that it drowns out the sound of a drill in your head) and imagined I was back here. It helped.
