Liebe Freunde der rastlosen Kunst,
Urban Affairs startet in die zweite Runde und neromonga ist mit dabei.
Zahlreiche weitere Künstler haben sich auf den Weg gemacht, um sich auf gut 2.000 qm im neuen Berliner Kunstzentrum, dem STATTBAD in Wedding mal so richtig auszutoben.
Nun seit gespannt, ich sag nur es wird bunt.

My friend that got me into polaroids had given me this snapshot. Seeing as it was a pretty bare shot of a studio, I decided to see if I could find a model to pose for the shot after the fact and add some colour to the shot: a brief flick through the latest issue of PEEL found me my model, and behold - the picture is complete!

When I was a little girl, maybe back in 1985, there was a guy on PBS who had a drawing show, kind of like Bob Ross. He would draw these little furry guys and make up stories. My brothers and I were kind of obsessed with these guys and would draw them all the time. This is my "grown up" version of that.

I discovered this on a walk yesterday and decided to post it as a New Year's greeting!

My friend MP is an extraordinarily talented baker and for Christmas she gave me a giant box of all kinds of cookies and these (gasp!) chocolate covered cherries.
She also made me my very own Monster to help me eat them.
Neither the Monster nor the cookies have left my side since yesterday.
Thanks MP!!! I love them!

Quase não tenho fotos com meus bichos. Mila se foi mês passado e posso contar nos dedos as fotos que tenho com ela. Dela, tenho muitas, ainda bem. Aí, domingo, resolvi tentar fazer um autorretrato com a Vênus, meu pequeno monstro. Ela passou por uma cirurgia recentemente e está um doce, mas não a ponto de posar pra câmera como eu gostaria. Das diversas tentativas sobrou esta, que adorei. Mas inda vou fazer uma self bacaninha com ela olhando a câmera, ah vou!

Venus, my beloved little monster and I. Last Sunday I tried to make a selfportrait with her, but was impossible, she´s too crazy to stop by my side and pose to the cam. After many shots I could save at least this one. We love each other a lot ! :D
