This wonderful location had more hills in a couple of acres than there are in a 100 mile radious around my home! It was awesome shooting from the bottom or top of different hills, and the impending storm added to the drama. I boosted the contrast in photoshop, desaturated and changed the colour of the image, and added in the seagull for interest.

Happy Furry Friday!

This was taken from one of the roads we have on our property that I ride on. As you can see, we have some clouds today. It's considerably cooler, only about 80 F right now. It was supposed to be over 100 so you won't hear any complaints from me.

I rode two horses today, not at the same time of course. LOL. Rode Donovan for a long time and then soon as I got home from riding him, got Pete and saddled him and went for a nice ride. Ran into some neighbors who were also out riding today and we rode a bit together. I would call today a very fun day.

I love this shot from an Open House the farm hosted. There wasn't much colour so I made it black & white and edited out some distracting background elements. This image is a popular one on the photo notecards I sell.

This was a mare at a horse resue facility, "Heaven Can Wait". She and her foal were up for adoption (they've long since been adopted). She hadn't been handled much so you couldn't get near her easily.
