'Exos' is a Canadian troupe living and performing in Geneva. I shot these images during a private party late 2006. Their work might be described as 'movement theatre' built on circus techniques and wrapped in a creative soundscape. The members of the group have an elegant presence expressed through an imaginative and astounding series of floating acrobatic sequences, contorsions, wire-walking, and dance set to an electro-type music that offers an unreal universe where mermaids and poetry mix in a lyric chaos.

Makar Sankranti marks the end of a long winter with the return of the sun to the Northern Hemisphere and hence the name Uttarayan. It is celebrated all over Gujarat but the excitement runs highest at Ahmedabad, Surat (known particularly for the strong string which is made by applying glass powder on the row thread to provide it a cutting edge) Nadiad and Vadodara. To be in any one of these places during this festival is to feel the heart and pulse of Gujarat and its people.

Daniella Arcuri (on the left) is a world famous tango dancer and, along with her partner Armando, my first professional teacher. Cecilia Rodriguez is a world famous tango singer & flute player who I've had the pleasure of dancing to on several occasions. This picture comes from an afternoon behind the parliament building in Bern (Switzerland) in the early '90s during which I discovered the argentine drink called "Maté".
l'institut on vaig cursar el BUP és molt a prop d'aquest meravellós pont... era molt habitual trobar-nos aquí després de classe, sota les arcades... vàrem passar-hi molt bons moments...
És un pont Gòtic amb un arc central i tres laterals de diferent tamany... a la roca de davant encara es veuen els forats de les antigues escluses... dóna accés des de Berga al preciós conjunt de Sant Quirze de Pedret.
