I guess I'm allowed to put these up now.

MCMB did an interview for HM magazine (which is out now in issue #143), and I was requested to come out and shoot photos for the magazine and for the upcoming release of their new album "Lost Boy." Zach and I drove about 3 hours through the rain from San Diego to a little venue in Camarillo (at least I was actually paid by Solid State this time). Long day, fun hang outs, lots of rain, lots of m3t4l.

For the record: This isn't intended to be a "band" photo; just something I wanted to shoot of Matthew.

MCMB recently did an interview for HM magazine, and I was requested to come out and shoot the cover photo. Drove about 3 hours from San Diego to a little venue in Camarillo. I was very excited to be with these boys again and incredibly stoked to do my first cover! :D Overall, it was a ridiculously long day of rain, good hang outs, metal, and picture-taking. Keep an eye out for the cover soon!

Thanks to Zach for keeping me grounded and helping me with absolutely everything, and for being the best friend I could ever ask for!

I'm really excited to share these photos with you guys! As I've been posting about on my blog non-stop, I went to Europe for 18 days with MyChildren MyBride and The Chariot. I could not have asked for better dudes to travel with for my first tour. Such a fun time! I’ll be sharing photos from the UK/European shows soon, so stay tuned for that. In the mean time, check out my Tumblr to watch the tour video The Chariot put together of all the footage Zach and I shot.

Matthew and Robert of MyChildren MyBride have started a clothing line, so we shot a few photos around one of the venues in Germany. Many more photos coming soon! Stay tuned!

Had yet another shoot with these boys when they came into town on the Trash n Burn tour with Devil Driver and some other g@y-m3t@! bands.

Bought about 16lbs of dry ice for $21 at the Ralph's across from Soma. Unfortunately none of us knew how to use dry ice, so only a quarter of it was put to good use. But we still got a pretty sweet photo out of it. :)

Finally! I started to go through my photos from The Chariot/MyChildren MyBride Europe Tour. I've been super bummed out lately because I haven't been creative, mostly due to my full time job.

I wanted to do something unique and different with my live photos, mostly because it can get super repetitive editing the same type of thing over and over. More to come soon!

I spent the last couple days with my boys MCMB, following them from San Diego to Pomona. We planned on doing this zombie shoot in my pool, but when we got there, wading in freezing cold water at 2 in the morning didn't sound like something everyone was eager to end the night with. We postponed the shoot until the next day at The Glasshouse. The guys wanted to go on stage with their makeup so we got started when the first band went on and by the time I was finished zombifying everyone, Zach had about 45 minutes to shoot before their set started, so we were extremely cramped on time. But it all ended up working out and I'm pretty stoked on this photo. This has been by far the most fun I've had with these guys, and Glasshouse is now my new favorite venue! Stay tuned for a new live video Zach and I will be putting together of the footage from the show.

This was collaborative idea between Dan and me, haha.

We were killing too much time and burning out my battery pack just standing around shooting boring group shots. They tried climbing the fence, but it's much taller than it actually looks and that proved to be an overall bad idea. My Vagabond was beeping that it was dying soon from powering three lights on full, so I just told Matthew to get on the ground and the rest of the dudes were going to bash him in. My head was practically upside-down on the ground shooting this so I was guessing at my framing; I got glass in my hand; I was itching from the concrete powder; and this just so happened to be the first shot of this and one of the last before my pack completely died. Woohoo!

These guys are always a blast to work with. Apparently they keep getting more and more popular, so I'm always in for the free ride. ;)

A few weeks ago I got to hang out with Mitchell Davis while I was on a shoot with MyChildren MyBride for Royal Family Clothing. After getting the shots needed for MCMB, Mitchell and Matt wanted to do a little photo montage of an old samurai fight scene so we grabbed some swords and went to town!

This comic is the result of that random shoot, thanks to Mitchell's amazing creative skills!

Last Saturday Triniti and I went on a photoshoot adventure!

It was the day after the Stick To Your Guns, Mychildren Mybride, Gwen Stacy, Agraceful, Attack Attack, and Kid Liberty show. I spent the night at Miss. Triniti Ortiz's house! I love her house it's so cute and cozy and I want to live in a house like that when I'm older!

So we drove like an hour and a half from Spring, Texas to Richmond, Texas and decided to have an adventure! We went to this old abandoned factory and asked the guy that lived there if we could take a few pictures. So I decided to climb in this huge rice holder thingy that wasn't easy getting in! And the guy that lives there decided to drive his truck over towards us and I was like freaking out because I was stilll in the rice holder thing! and so I was starting to climb out of it and he started walking towards us! So Triniti started talking to him and we started walking to another part of the factory and he followed us! It was creepy, but with him with us we got to roam all over the place! It was so cool and very creepy and dangerous! And then after that we were going to go to Old Richmond to take some photos, but there was some kind of Christmas Festival going on? And so yeah. We decided to go to the cemetary and take a polaroid :)

And so Miss. Triniti dropped me off at like four and (me being the stupid girl I am) forgot my stupid house key! And it was freezing! So I was locked out of my house with a dead cell phone for two hours :(

A few photos from the adventure: 1. Triniti and the huge rice holders. 2. Me climbing in the huge rice holder thing. 3. Me in the rice holder thing. 4. Triniti inside the factory! 5. Me in the ridiculously sweet factory! 6. Triniti is so cute! 7. My favorite picture of me from the day. 8. She'll beat you up! 9. She'll beat you up in the cemetary too!

And from then on it's been quite a normal week until yesterday! I went to the post office and mailed a 97cent letter to my friend Stephen :) and then that night it snowed! It snowed in Houston, Texas! It snowed allll over! And today was quite a sad day because the back of my ear blew out and I've been freaking out all day and Triniti said it'll be alright and I just shouldn't mess with it and I'm quite distraught over the whole situation.

this show was so metal!! it wasnt worth paying 12 bucks to see. the bands werent bad, it was just that i only really liked one band. hahaha. that was suffokate. they are so good live, they make me so mad haha

heres my shows im planning on going to in the next couple months!! im hecka lucky to live here, we always have good shows. ill probably go to more shows than this but im trying to cut back to just the really good ones

I got a call about 2 hours before these guys got in town saying they wanted me to do some new press work for them. Given I didn't premeditate this shoot whatsoever, I am actually pretty happy with the outcome.

I'm so ridiculously stoked on these photos! I was laughing with my mom the other day about how when I was 12 she used to freak out on me when she found my morbid artwork and would hope it was just a phase. Eight years later, this is what I'm still doing...

These photos were taken in Germany at the Köln Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic churches in the world. Matthew, Robert, and I set out on a 2 mile walk from the venue to see this thing in all its glory. As we approached it, the sky was looming with black clouds, the bells were ringing out, and the wind was so powerful it nearly knocked us over. I’ve never seen anything more epic. This was the perfect setting to shoot some photos for the Vicious World lookbook.

Sorry for such a crap picture today.

I've been SO busy and stressed with school today. Got my math test back....eck. Let's not go there.

Slightly stressed, and now my TMJ is acting up. When did it start acting up again? Oh the WEEK school started....typical.

Anyways, let's talk music. I love music. Almost EVERY style of music. I don't really like country at ALL. Weird, right? Since I'm from Georgia and all? :P

I like genres from:

Hardcore, mainstream, classic rock, metal, pop, pop-punk, reggae, punk, rap, hip hop, R&B, acoustic, indie, psychedelic...ETC.

Some of my favorite artists for the past while are:

MGMT

Lady GAGA

Justin Bieber (he CLEARLY has talent, don't get me in a debate about that.)

MyChildren MyBride

Band of Horses

Regina Spektor

Nicki Minaj

Ludacris

Usher

Katy Perry

Kesha

The Noisettes

Avenged Sevenfold

Goldfinger

311

Kansas

The Beatles

Slightly Stoopid

SUBLIME

ETC. The list goes on.

Let's discuss music artists!!!? :D

I want to learn more about all of you, so let's have a bit of a discussion about our favorite bands/singers!

WHO'S your favorite singer/band and WHY? What is it about them? And who should I check out?

I don't really even know where to begin explaining these shots... Basically, Matthew wanted to take photos after the show, and I thought I'd be doing promos for the band. Apparently, they had a fill-in guitarist and didn't want to shoot with him, and their drummer locked himself away in the trailer. So we pretty much just messed around. Yeah...

These guys were so fun to hang out with and it's refreshing to be around some down-to-earth Christian dudes in this scene for a change. Expect more photos with them again soon. :)
