In my back yard....HFF ;)

Five minutes before sunrise this morning.

A small bunch of Snowdrops top off a crown of golden Crocus. A combination of 1/2+1/4 Black Diffusion filters on the camera lens were used to achieve the soft effect in this image.

A nice surprise on my morning stroll. A couple of Wild Fallow deer out in the open as the sun begins to rise behind me on this cold and snowy morning. Another reason I am glad to have made the effort today.

A study of................. Classified as Vunerable on the Vascular Plant Red Data list for Great Britain. Found wild only in a few locations in the UK on Grasslands, Wetlands and Water meadows near fresh water. These are cultivated and are growing in my back yard.

A little further into my morning walk,

Peace is an offering.

A muffin or a peach.

A birthday invitation.

A trip to the beach.

Peace is all around, if you just look for it.

Nigella or Love in a Mist

My daily morning stroll before breakfast. This certainly was a cold one but well worth the effort with colour in the sky, mist down in the distant valley and the first snow of the Winter crisp and crunching beneath my feet.

Lit using a small LED torch from below and behind and my ever faithful black plastic doormat for a back drop.

Almost looks like Neon light.

The Black-capped Chickadee was perched in the Eastern White Cedars for a few seconds before disappearing in the backyard located in Timmins in the Township of Mountjoy in the City of Timmins Northeastern Ontario Canada

During spring, I usually, I have a few Scott's orioles in the yard. I have seven this morning. The flowered branch is a "Shrub live oak."

Wishing you Love & Peace dear Flickr friends. May Love, Light & Peace embrace you.

Red leaves and green grass for Christmas. So far it's very warm (broke a record in RI today. I'm loving this "winter" so far. If only the warmer temps would last...)

(Off - Ok, but not feeling well and very tired. Thanking you so much for all the favs & beautiful comments dear friends. I'm not ignoring you. Hoping to catch up with your beautiful photos this weekend :)
