Artwork on the wall is mine. Bathroom is from Unsplash.

Inspired by the leaves of Autumn

I realize, but I like the end result.

This is a piece that started out as a hydranga, again that I was going to use for Bokeh Wednesday, and found itself becoming something like a piece of art in my eyes. I just couldn't help playing with it until I got it to the mood I felt fit the photo and made it more dramatic at least in my eyes! I hope you like it.

I'm sorry I've posted so many tonight. As I have said in the past, when I have time to work on my photography, I like to get as much done as possible and share with all my friends. Thanks for being so understanding!

... with added gift tags coming out of my 'lil' workshop.

To all my contacts :)

Macro Monday: Theme: Personal Dreams

Becoming an artist. That was my dream.

This is a picture taken through my Rolleicord.

HMM!

sketched in pencil and colored with markers. This is a few years old, not sure the exact date.

Because other artists did it before and we, perhaps, only tread the paths that they opened, today, again, I bring one of those artists somewhat "unknown" to the general

public, or so I think. It is the Swedish Olaf Gulbransson. One of the facets that most interests me about this author is the social portrait that is reflected in his work.

Soldiers, politicians, artists, people from the street, are shown throughout his work, evidencing Gulbransson's diverse and brilliant aesthetic resources.

I have interpreted what appears to be an engraving of his, of which I have unfortunately found little information, but which shows his compositional strength,

the liveliness of the line and his care for detail.
