Another of my sunsets along the river Thames, it was such a fabulous and beautiful evening . Just a short time from home.
It is all a bit of a hit and miss affair when you are taking shots like this because you are not to sure how the rays are going to come out!

Thank you in advance !! ..... :))
My sunset photography drought has continued for the past couple of weeks, but at least there was one photogenic sunset.
And there has been many more awakenings since the initial awakening in mid to late June 2022.
These sunset photos were captured at a place called the North Pine Dam, that is located on the outskirts of Brisbane, Australia. I will update the map to each photo eventually. I used to frequent this location with my then beautiful woman, who I refer to in some of my sunset titles as, 'my dear'.
Photography is my art! I get to express the artist in me through my photography! No different to an artist with their paint brushes and easel ready to tell a story, I have been telling a sad story in my sunset photos. The story begins with Lonely Travels and ends with this photo. The date taken on each photo is significant to the timeline and titles to each photo of this story. The titles of each sunset photo is a broad description of the sad story, no need for me to elaborate any further.
I have not had this Flickr account for very long....I created it in mid August 2022. Miraculously, a handful of these sunset captures made Flickr Explore, and, I was surprised. I send a big thank you to my followers who have favoured (favored) my photos, and to those who have favoured (favored) and commented on my photos. Thank you for your professional and nice comments. Thank you so much ❤ You are beautiful ❤
Stay tuned my followers, I have been out and about snapping away and therefore have plenty of other photos to showcase ❤

Shot for the 52 Weeks for Dogs Project: It's early in the week but I am so incredibly busy that I don't want to take the chance of waiting for another shot and I really like this one anyway :) I had shared a silhouette shot of Autumn recently, but not for the project and I just could not resist this opportunity when I saw the newly created hill (housing construction). Truth is I over exposed it but that's the beauty of shooting in RAW as I was able to drop the exposure down to get the shot that I had envisioned. The original unedited shot follows below for comparison.

Is there anything more peaceful than taking in the quiet beauty of the setting sun? As the sun descends below the horizon, creating romantic shades of red and orange across the sky, the world has a chance to breathe in and rejuvenate. While sunsets are a literal end to a day, they've also become symbols of peace, harmony, and the promise of renewal. Sunsets are a great reminder to rest and reset our hearts and minds at the end of each and every day.
Clicked in NIT Silchar, India Campus which is a very beautiful place in Silchar, Assam India. Numerous ponds and lakes spread around the lush green campus with a few interesting pieces of architectural marvel .

Skaket Beach is known for it's beautiful sunsets and no-see-ums. (Tiny black biting insects that drive you crazy!)
Just messing about in Photoshop to create this semi-abstract mirrored reflection from one of my sunset images..... hope you approve !!!

A massive Joshua Tree stands alone with its subjects looking on in the background.
After expending most of vacation time shooting around the Southwest, I found myself with a new moon and no place to go.
I have been ignoring JT as of late because it's been reserved for filler and last weekend was the perfect time to scout the Joshua Trees in the monument. I started at 3pm sunday after peak heat which was 95 degrees, the temperature was a great deterrent for most tourist and that was apparent when I arrived, the place was a ghost town. The lack of people in the park was the perfect opportunity to scout out the best Trees found in the park, After 4 hours of walking and driving, mostly driving at around ten mph looking at every possible location then disembarking to tag each tree at it's actual location. All in all I tagged 32 interesting specimens then waited to see what the night sky would bring. I still needed a location for my sunset shot, Keys view was out of the question, the sky was clear to the west but there where some nice clouds lingering to the east so I decided to head over to see what was going on at the ancient juniper in the Jumbo Rocks campground. As I suspected, not a soul around. Perfect. I had a semi-epic sunset there and the spent the rest of my remaining time shooting the specimens I had found during the day until rain ended my fun and blotted out the Milky Way. Next time I go to JT I will be able to go directly to each tree. This is the one tree that really stood out of the bunch its massive umbrella truly dwarfed any other found. Hope you like it. :)
Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my photos, and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!!

Once again, I go for a walk on the most stunning cliffs anywhere in the world (at least in my opinion) and what do I come back with photos of, grass!!!
Ah well, it was a beautiful evening! The cliffs, by the way, were north Cornwall, just outside Polzeath.
Another one for you BeanheadWisconsin I just wish I could get out at sunset more often.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜
Another composition from my sunset shoot at Porth Nanven, St Just, Cornwall. Two of the 'dinosaur eggs' visible on the edge of the sand made a bit of a feature to shoot. Better if there had been an odd number but had to take what I could get.
Have a great weekend everyone.

MY Pictures Here:
That is what my Sunset App said about the night I captured this last week (Overcast-Forget it giving it a score of 1).
The evening sky produced these golden yellows and that changed over a half hour or so.
I feel so at peace at this place. Of course I have written about the approaching development that will soon swallow this up. I am standing on a dirt road here, just outside the fence of the property but behind me are cyclone fences and half built houses.
I don't know how long I have to enjoy this landscape, maybe a few years. I can't bring myself to look at the future plans.
Still, I'll keep popping out, regardless of what my Sunset App says just in case something special happens-like I felt it did on this night.
This looks really over saturated on my phone but not at all on my computer. Hope it doesn’t translate like that to others 😀 I don’t have good calibration with any of my screens.
