Mx5 with a little artwork by my friend Lea Minshull.
I have had the pleasure of working with Lea and some of my images can be seen on his website.
This was my first Mazda MX5, 1992 1.6 115cv, I owned it during 5 years and 195.000 km.
I had a lot of fun with it, meet my wife, discover trackdays and keep great memories of it.
Even if I had several other MX5 after this one, it was the first one and keep a special place in my MiataLover heart...
Bokeh Panorama done long and fast.
Cropped down a little, but done with 60 images.
Fit about the nose of the car and the front wheel in one frame.
Slight edits in LR, then stitched on PS, then final edit in Lightroom.
MX5 Mazda with very smart wheels and other bolt on goodies. This is possibly the same car that I photographed back last year

This was a meet of MX5 owners from various clubs and web forums, a good strong turn out was had on a sunny Northern Ireland evening in Lisburn. The cars they left in convoy for a top down drive to the paddock area of the Ulster GP circuit close by.
I combined a photo shoot of this rare Mazdaspeed MX5 with a tutorial on how to take the shots, and edit them with Photoshop – here’s one result
