The Twin Elm Rodeo in Bandera features Mutton Busting for the kids as part of the rodeo. My daughter decided to give it a try. We paid the entrance fee and then decided to ask what mutton busting was. As you can see, you get on a sheep and hold on for dear life as long as possible. There is no graceful way off once you start, as the third photo in the series illustrates. Although she did not win, my daughter had the time of her life and surprised us by simply going through with it. The photos are rather grainy and blurry, but they were the best I could do given lighting situation and distance from the subject.
Tuffy has recently developed these fuzzy little whiskers, which I think may be a wired-hair gene coming out in him. Reminds me of Tobyotter's Frank.
