Great Ocean Road Trip, Victoria, Australia. This was one of the few times I was able to photograph a sunrise in Australia even though I tried a number of times. Most days there was thick cloud cover.
The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243 kilometres (151 miles) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. Wikipedia
I joined my daughter who lives in Adelaide South Australia, her partner, Tom, and my two grand kids (age 1 and 5) for this long drive through Victoria and South Australia. We drove to Melbourne, spent one night there, than to Torquay where we spent two nights, then on to Portland for one night.
We visited the Melbourne Sea Life Aquarium, the St. Kilda Botanical Garden, and the waterfront in Port Phillip, a suburb of Melbourne. In Torque, Taylor Park was a nice spot to get bird photos early in the morning although with cloud cover the light was poor.
We visited a Erskine Falls in Great Otway National Park, but needed at least one more day to explore the park.
The highlight of the trip was the stretch of coastline near and beyond the Twelve Apostles. We finally got some blue sky and sun while in Port Campbell National Park (Twelve Apostles) but the wind was howling.

Good job I took this spur of the moment effort of the Chopper on the rear of the northbound, it was the only shot of it in sun that I got!

A cabinet card photo of a girl wearing a dress with leg-of-mutton or gigot sleeves, which were fashionable and popular in the 1890s when it's likely this photo was taken. The painted backdrop features a hilly landscape with a meandering fence and tall flowering plants that match nicely with the grassy floor covering the girl is standing on and the gate-like wooden prop she's leaning against.
As far as I can tell from the hard-to-read stamp on the back of the photo, the photographer's last name was "Aunspach," which suggests that this may have come from the studio of J. S. Aunspach of Pillow, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
A fashion (in its day) photo for the Vintage Photos Theme Park.

Now a question as somebody heading very quickly towards 60 years old can I still wear such outfits or shall I settle for longer dresses?
Like every self-respecting cowgirl, this young competitor was determined to complete her ride AND stylish to boot. I love her colour-coordinated outfit - pink helmet, pink shirt, pink belt and pink boots. Well done Addison!
For a locomotive class that was built between the early 1960 to late 1970s the DD51 Class are far from being young, the JRF renewal livery however gives the class a sexy young look. The Tomix 2218 High Grade model is a beautiful piece of work with superb detail and smooth running, I am yet to fit the number plates as well as the extra details that come with it.

Bushy Park was one of the first places in the country to be designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due in part to the population of ancient and veteran trees. There are 140 veteran trees in Bushy Park, including lime, oak, hawthorn, black poplar and silver maple.
Mutton Island off Kilmurry in County Clare might not be the place that one would expect to have been one of the links in a communications chain that helped protect an Empire? If you wish to find it on the map don't fall for a straightforward "Kilmurry" because Clare has a collection of them. Mutton Island is off "Kilmurry Ibrackane" not too far away from a golf course owned by a rather (in)famous guy with weird hair!
