“Somewhere in his body -- perhaps in the marrow of his bones-- he would continue to feel her absence.”
― Haruki Murakami,
'Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman: 24 Stories'
There are many things going wrong with the world always but if you don't have a sense of wonder, living is no longer worthwhile in the first place.
Though I am a big fan of Haruki Murakami as well as Ryu Murakami, this is actually a multiple exposure based on the art of Takashi Murakami from the Museum of Contemporary Art. The current exhibit is entitled The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg and is really cool to see. If you live in Chicago, it's up through the summer so check it out!

¿No te parece? "
H. Murakami

So anyone who's in love gets sad when they think of their lover. It's like stepping back inside a room you have fond memories of, one you haven't seen in a long time."

I suppose this is my typical shot/title/processing :P

I am always excited to read anything, fiction or nonfiction by the great author Haruki Murakami. This text is taken from the great novel, 1Q84, which has his usual sense of parallel worlds that proves he has an imagination like no other. I wrote a review of 1Q84 with favorite quotes after I finished the novel around this time in 2011.

Wakeijuku is a student residence in Mejirodai, built in 1955. Haruki Murakami also used to live in Wakeijuku when he was a student of Waseda University.
midori responded with a long, long silence - the silence of all the misty rain in the world falling on all the new-mown lawns of the world. forehead pressed against the glass, i shut my eyes and waited. at last, midori's quiet voice broke the silence: "where are you now?"
where was i now?
gripping the receiver, i raised my head and tured to see what lay behond the telephone booth. where was i now? i had no idea. no idea at all. where was this place? all that flashed into my eyes were the countless shapes of people walking by to nowhere. again and again, i called out for midori from the dead center of this place that was no place.

Nothing special today!
Just painted my room this past weekend so I'm currently kneeling at my computer surrounded by all the crap of my room. Ahh it was such a tiring project!
