Ama dablam as captured from Dingboche. Took this shot using a DJI mavic pro from an elevation of about 4800 m while on a acclamitization hike.
I'm posting this just in case you are interested.
After my race with the ferry boat I figured it was time to turn around. I looked at my battery voltage and I was almost on empty! I looked at my distance and I was just under a mile and half out. Needless to say I hauled a** back to shore. I got lucky this time.

Today I visited Snoqualme Falls a 268 foot tourist attraction in Washington State. If you've seen the news there is flooding in my part of the world and the falls are quite full right now
I saw an opportunity to start a new video! Although I'm not quite sure if it's going to be a compilation or just one of the falls.
Here I am hovering over Snoqualmie Falls trying to capture the grand landscape. I never thought that I needed a lens larger than what my gopro came with. Today I was wishing it was a tad bit wider.

Shot from my Ecilop multirotor at dusk. Altitude: 32m Lens: 18mm (28mm FF equiv.) Just half an hour before I shot this one I had a severe and enigmatic failure of compass/gyro calibrationthat lead to an imminent crash of the multirotor. The equipment luckily survived the tumble pretty well as you can see. Straighted out a few bent landing gear parts and switched out a broken off propeller, re-done calibration routines, airbourne again.
Accident Investigation Team is looking into what actually happened up there... But as of now it seems pretty well sorted. ;)
